They came for the Semiautos and I did nothing, because I wasn't a Semiauto.
Chilling. Needs to go viral, Patrick.

American Spirit Arms the Most Recent Victim of Bank of America Anti-Gun Discrimination January 7, 2013
Scottsdale, AZ --(Ammoland.com)- My name is Joe Sirochman owner of American Spirit Arms and I wanted to share my recent experience with Bank of America (which we have been doing business with for over 10 years).
Everyone is familiar with the latest increase in guns sales , dealers selling out of inventory, manufacturers back logged for months, large amounts revenue all generated in the last weeks.
American Spirit Arms is no exception to the overwhelming demand. What we have experienced is that our web site orders have jumped 500% causing our web site E commerce to be sending much larger deposits to BANK OF AMERICA.
Well, this threw up a huge RED Flag with Bank of America. So they decided to hold the deposits for further review, meaning that the orders/payments that were coming in through the web, being paid by honest customers, for goods that were shipped out by American Spirit Arms, were all help by the bank “UNDER REVIEW”
As you could imagine this made me furious…After countless hours on the phone with BANK OF AMERICA I finally got a manager in the right department that told me the reason that the deposits were on hold for FURTHER REVIEW …HER EXACT WORDS WERE AS FOLLOWS…
“WE BELIEVE YOU SHOULD NOT BE SELLING GUNS and GUN PARTS ON THE INTERNET “
I flipped out and told them that they have no right to make up their own new rules and regs..that we are a firearms manufacturer with all the proper licensing FFL (Federal Firearm license ), SOT and that we follow all Federal and All States’ rules and regulations on shipping Firearms and parts ..and that we are also Audited by ATF and Homeland Security on a regular basis.
She said that she understands that but that the deposits will be released only after they have a chance to review and clear them …I told her that this was unacceptable and the those deposits (that were a week old by now ) needed to be released ASAP, that we are a small business and rely on the revenue to run and stay operational.
After that being said another Manager got involved and released one of the deposits “to help out”.
So far to date after two weeks of sales only 1/3 of collected internet sales have been released ..I am still pissed and looking for another Bank and options.

BofA (at the behest of the bastards behind the curtain in DC, no doubt) is sending a powerful message to Mr. Sirochman (who specializes in AR-type weapons - I imagine that's not a coincidence).
They're also sending a message to OTHER manufacturers.
They're also sending a message to the industry in general.
And...they're also sending a message to you and me.
I refuse to read your posting because they contain other people's ideas even though you cite them. Cut-and-paste proves you have no thoughts of your own even though I notice a smattering of unread words after your C&P. You are a "moron" and probably associate with an unknown Badwebber known as Ferris. In fact, you are probably not a motorcyclist. Please, sir, cease posting to Quick board as I don't want to learn anything.
The American Spirit Arms story is amazing. If they don't want to do business with an arms dealer, then fine, tell them to go away and give them their funds. To hold their funds simply because you don't agree with the business they are in is theft. Being a bank, it's bank fraud.
I saw an interview with someone (the owner?) from ASA, and they were incredibly tempered in their response to this. I would rather see them press criminal charges. I would also like to know exactly where the idea to hold their funds originated. It does smack of a government request. Let the investigation lead where it may though. Sadly, I don't believe ASA is planing to press the issue. I'm guessing they are just happy scrambling to keep up with demand at the moment.
I will NEVER willingly do business with BOA. ASA, I would certainly consider dealing with.
Mr. Cut & Paste did have a few of his own thoughts below the aforementioned. I read this story yesterday and almost posted it but I've been limiting my political postings on the interweb and feared persecution for cutting and pasting.

Kelly McMillan, Director of Operations for McMillan Group International speaks to NAGR Executive Vice President Dudley Brown about his recent encounter with anti-gun Bank of America officials who told him to take his business elsewhere.
Quote: Biden talked also about taking responsible action. "As the president said, if you're actions result in only saving one life, they're worth taking"
He's right, you know. Next lets take away cars, then everything else that's ever been used by a person to kill another person.
Good for Mr McMillan and good to know that he has a financially sound business (for the moment) that allows him to make a stand against the corrupt too big to fail taxpayer bailed out Bank of no-longer America.
That was a telling interview which further exposes a vast 100 year old agenda.
I wonder how many such incidences of 'political' pressure are never heard about, and a business fails.
"Below is the nine step process bankers have used to enslave us all with nary a peep of resistance until recent times."
I genuinely wonder how I would have reacted if I read the following story a few years ago...
quote:
Vice President Dick Cheney revealed that President Bush might use an executive order to deal with abortion.
"The president is going to act," said Cheney, giving some comments to the press before a meeting with pro-life advocates. "There are executives orders, there's executive action that can be taken. We haven't decided what that is yet. But we're compiling it all with the help of the attorney general and the rest of the cabinet members as well as legislative action that we believe is required."
Cheney said that this is a moral issue and that "it's critically important that we act."
Cheney talked also about taking responsible action. "As the president said, if you're actions result in only saving one life, they're worth taking. But I'm convinced we can affect the well-being of millions of americans and take thousands of people out of harm's way if we act responsibly."
That isn't a violation of the constitution though, it's an affirmation of the right to life, as enshrined in said document. Biden's remarks signify an intent to violate the constitution.
It's the "executive mandate" part that bugs me. Abortion became legal due to a very tortured judicial fiat (it is legal to kill a fetus because of a womans privacy right? Are you serious?).
Making it illegal again by an executive fiat seems just as wrong, not because of the outcome, but because of the precedent it sets for future executive fiats. No matter how good your current leader is, you know that sooner or later you will get a tyrant.
If so, I own a Buell. It's my second one. I've met many badwebbers when I lived in Columbus. One was my MSF coach and I mountain biked with another before we were both into Buells.
I'm a supporter of my second amendment rights. I own a fairly large collection of guns as well. In addition to being a badweb member, I run a parts department at a large dealer (55 hours a week), go to school full time for electrical engineering, going through a divorce and house shopping. So, while I would like to help the cause, time is a precious commodity that I do not have much of right now. Thanks.
"thousands of people out of harm's way if we act responsibly."
Really? Does he think he will end all gun related murders? Does he not understand that the criminals will still have the guns because they don't follow laws anyway. This is all just such illogical bullshit.
First, give something a scary name, then get it banned. Repeat. That's the plan from the parent Org of the current Brady center to exploit a crippled guy.
The Governor of NY is planning to jump on this hard and fast to set up his run for Prez. He has publicly stated that the existing "definition" of "assault Weapons" isn't good enough for him, and his will be comprehensive.
That makes perfect sense. There IS NO SUCH THING as an Assault Weapon, so it is whatever you want it to be. ( the Clinton Ban defined a .22 magazine that held 11 rounds as an Assault Weapon )
There is massive support for this from the left, from Russia, from China, from the UN and most important, from Piers Morgan, CNN, MSNBC, etc. etc.
So unless you can get your Congressman to listen and vote against the upcoming gun grab, it's going to happen.
Even if Congress says no, and that is really iffy. The Obama plans to just issue an executive order. The Court might overturn that, but not before the smashing of doors and the stealing of property begins. Once they've stolen your property, you will not get it back unless you are rich, and have a team of good lawyers.
After all, where's your receipt?
I strongly urge folk not to shoot the police when they get the illegal orders to come smash your house and steal your stuff.
They came for the Assault Weapons and I did nothing, because I wasn't an Assault Weapon.
I strongly urge folk not to shoot the police when they get the illegal orders to come smash your house and steal your stuff.
This is a difficult decision. Do that, and you will almost certainly die. Of course when new breaks of people simply defending their homes from the government, all hell is likely to break loose. It is likely to turn into a civil war. There will be a select few that will accept death as part of that war. Of that I'm certain.
Personally, as soon as I hear of confiscations going on, I have a plan for all my guns. Unless I'm somehow stopped at a vehicle check point transporting them to a safe location, they will almost certainly never get them. They will be available to me and family when needed.
I would strongly urge folks to consider what's right for you when the police get the illegal orders to come smash your house and steal your stuff. I know I will at least make it as clear as possible to the jackbooted thugs that they are NOT working within the Constitution. I'm sure some will be on the fence on this, and a reminder won't hurt. It won't change the immediate situation, but when the stuff really hits the fan, hopefully the will make the right choice.
If becoming a martyr is the right choice for you, then you may play a large part in what is coming. I'm just not sure I would suggest that as the right course for everyone. Some of us need to keep our powder dry too.
Hearing a story on CNN today about a women with two children shoot an intruder trying to break into her house cemented the notion that guns level the playing field for the weak and less affluent people in society. Chipping away at the second amendment is chipping away at civil rights not only for avid shooters and hunters but more importantly for women, homosexuals, the old and those with certain disabilities that are not strong. How hypocritical of well to do media figures to call for strict new legislation when they enjoy the best buffer against public life money can buy. They are grossly out of touch with common citizens of this country.
Hearing a story on CNN today about a women with two children shoot an intruder...
This is but a single concrete example of guns SAVING lives. Three of them in this case. Two small children. Every month the NRA magazines have a number of these stories in them. I have no idea how many stories are never told, but just with the stories that are documented in NRA magazines, the good that comes from gun ownership, far outweighs the few mass shootings that happen.
There's an old saying "God didn't make man equal, Sam Colt did." ( alt "God made man, but Samuel Colt made them equal," )
The invention of the repeater, a reliable and useful one, changed everything.
Before, unless you had a pistol in every pocket, when a gang of bad guys attacked you, they knew you only had one shot, and the least valuable member of the gang was pushed in front. After that, you were dead. That was the same equation before fire arms.
The basic principal of melee combat is concentration of force. Arrange so that multiple guys can beat on one, and you win. ( conversely, martial arts against multiple attackers stresses arranging to take them on one by one, by maneuver and making them get in each others way )
True, a master swordsman could take on 3-4 guys, but few ever were master martial artists, and that's why gangs have always ruled over individuals.
The repeater fire arm changed that, forever. Finally a women, a small man, a weak, injured or old man could stand on equal ground to 5 large armed men.
The other part of that was that if one could stand against many, tyrants had a much harder time controlling the people, since gang violence is the essence of tyranny.
That's why they want your guns. That's why they want to take the semi autos, the hand guns, the multiple shot magazines.
FIRST.
It won't take but minutes before a flintlock is too dangerous to allow you to have. The D politicians are already making anti-knife noises. This does not stop.
It's not the weapon, it's that armed men are harder to scare, and rule.
"White House Press Secretary Jay Carney reiterated Tuesday that President Obama is "skeptical that putting more guns in schools would solve this problem."
He's also a deceiver. The clause "putting more guns in schools" is nothing but pure deception and willful ignorance. There were no guns in the Sandy Hook Elementary that the psychopath himself didn't carry.
I hate liars. So-called "Progressives" (new name for Marxists) are all liars. Their ideology demands it so.
>>> President Obama is "skeptical that putting more guns in schools would solve this problem."
But more guns in Afghanistan was a swell idea?
More guns for the IRS is all full of hope and change?
More guns for FEMA gives him the warm fuzzies?
More guns for the govt is fine by President B. Hussein Obama. Armed professionals to defend our school children though are troublesome to the former doper and cocaine user.
