I really would like the larger caliber. Might pick up a 5.56 with .22 conversion to plink around as well. |

Went to our biggest local shop today to pick up a bag for the new piece. They did still have all of 3 AR-15s on the wall. I was kind of surprised. The place was as packed as I've ever seen on a weekend. This was about 2 PM on a Friday. Paying for my bag at the register, the guy ringing me up mentioned that they just got a batch of ARs in today, that's why they still have a couple on the wall. I stole a peak at the price tag on one and they were getting $1,800 for a pretty basic AR. Mags were out, but they have some on order. $54 for a mag! |

$54 for a Pmag? That's outrageous. I got mine for $14 each. |

I just ordered some from MidwayUSA. Out of stock, but still $14.20 a piece. The $54 was just for A mag. I don't even know what brand. I didn't bother to ask. |

eBay is loaded with AR mags.....somebody is reporting them as banned offering, as a lot of them disappear from my watched items list...."item is no longer available". I think it is an anti gunner reporting them ...as some do get thru as a sold item at the end of the auction... WTF? |

With ebay, if it is flagged after you have started the transaction, ebay says that you don't have to follow through and that you should use caution, but do not say you can't complete the transaction. At least that's how it worked when my kid wanted to buy some knock off brand name sunglasses. |

25 round clips for a mossberg 715t (a $300 .22 that looks like an AR) are selling for $150 on eBay. For one F'n clip that's normally $30! One even went for $205! For a gun that costs $300!!! It's nuts!! |

well it turns out the wait from dsa on the new upper is 12 weeks would have been nice if their website had indicated that in any way when i ordered the thing! i guess the plus side is i have some time to find that elusive bolt carrier group to finish it! |

I just went to our local range. They were parking on the lawn! They said the wait time for a lane was about 2 hours with less than 3 hours open time left. The gun counters were packed. This shop tends to have high prices and usually the retail counters are pretty dead. I've NEVER seen that many people in there. I wonder how long the craziness will continue. |

my guess is about a month after they do what they're gonna do. which i believe is sometime in january right? most people i know in panic mode are 'investing' in stuff they think will triple in price soon. that sucks for average peeps |

^^^ read it last week. It'll never get through intact, although there are rumors swirling that some GOP congressmen are willing to bend this time. To what degree, I suppose we will find out (which may well lead to their unemployment). Nemo = pure unobtainium. nice to look at though Now, I need some guidance - someone please tell me I would be out of my mind to pay $800 for a Sub 2000 in .40 cal. |

http://www.turnbullmfg.com/store.asp?pid=36767&cat id=19872 Also gun porn. ( different strokes.) I like the TI rifle, but it's a marketing tool, like the One off, Beryllium bicycle. ( ironically, sold at the NYC bike show to a rich doctor, and promptly stolen in NYC. ) Titanium is nowhere near the problem to work with that Beryllium is. ( dust is fatal toxic. Slow, lingering inevitable death. From just a whiff. I was once asked to fill out the bid form for a Be Job, and the boss was very thrown off on my question, "do we save the machines, or pay to have them buried in a nuclear waste dump?" Didn't get a thrill from my next comment, "Also, If you insist we bid on this job, Either I do it, or I'm leaving until after they tear down the building and build a new one, because I think I'm the only one here who knows why I need to build a glove box around the lathe." ) Then again, I was the Model Lathe guy at Lightnin. ( lots of exotic materials, Ti was a daily thing. Be? Not near me. ) Mtnmason, you would be out of your mind to pay $800 for a Sub 2000 in .40 cal. Feel better? You're crazy because 20 seconds on line found one for sale for $350. http://www.gunsamerica.com/902952437/Kel+Tec+Sub+2 000+40+SW.htm |

looking through the regs - if the .223//308 is fitted with a grip/stock similar to the Judge Rifle ; it seems to put a cosmetic work around to some of the stupidity coming outta DC, add the wood upper covers - and I bet they couldn't tell you what the f it was, is, or could be. Damn I hate these idiots. |

Sorry, we snooze, we lose.... The "new Normal" of panic buying has changed a lot. I didn't notice the sale was up when I posted. Ooops. It's almost a pity I gave away all my guns. Too bad the heavy drug use has led to such a poor memory. I don't recall anyone's name anymore, dates, or details, but I'm sure I had good reason. Oh! the darn drugs. Who'd a thunk that Advil and Niacin would have such terrible effects? I have to guess that the poor memory is the reason I decided to give them all away as presents this last Christmas. It wouldn't do to forget and leave a deadly weapon out where children ( breaking into my house ) could get it. But, I forget, and that's ok. No need to dwell on a past in a Constitutional Republic. Just depress ya. |

So, let's assume that the laws are passed and every unregistered weapon is required to be registered. Do you? |
