Well I just moved into my home earlier this year. It is very quiet and docile. Compared to my previous place in the forest where there was gun shots, fireworks, and loud music, it is weird that being in the city is more tranquil.

Stood out on the terrace at midnight watching the show down the valley in Geneva, added bonus of various smaller displays all around too.

Fortunately it was a dry clear night & we've not had many lately.

HNY to all.

I managed to get home about an hour before midnight here- had a bottle of Shooting Star sparkling Syrah wine (VERY different, but tasty!),
2 dozen fresh oysters, a salmon cheese ball, fresh flatbread from work- and when I remembered my hunny doesn't like raw oysters, I went back to the fishmonger and got an ounce of paddlefish caviar.

Got half a dozen oysters shucked without sending myself to the hospital- BIG honkers, YUMMMM!!! Then we just watched the boob tube.
Being here in downtown Mur-vil, we can't blow too much stuff up- next year maybe we'll head out to the country and get that done.

Here's wishing all youn's a GREAT 2013, and as much good riding as we can all get!!!

I usually have a big huge display of fireworks and lots of friends over........I quit drinking last year and you would be surprised how little of friends i really have now. I was in bed by 11pm. not really fun but i got woke up by the neighbors fireworks.
