A copy/paste of the add; Jump bike from the movie ghost rider heavily modified buell actual bike used in movi Hi all, this bike is not exactly an adventure bike,. but you could have some cool adventures on it... What I have is the actual bike used in the Ghost rider 1 movie... Nick Cage jumped endzone to endzone on this bike and then stunted on for a minute while chasing down his girlfriend... they built 6 of these bikes over in australia for the filming... they destroyed a couple of them in the crash scenes... I heard that cage has one of the remaining bikes in his living room... also sony might have one in a museum somewhere?? they gave this bike away in a sony / sobe soft drink contest...I didnt win it... bought it from the guy that bought it from the winner... the bike itself is a heavily modified 2002 fuel injected buell... they chromed the frame, raised the subframe for the one off dual underseat exhaust., new penske shock, NOS cans on each side of bike.., dirt bike bars and tall risers, billet rearsets billet grips, adjustable levers chrome covers and accents, michelin anakee tires... flames on tank and seat... crazy bike... no key (remember it is a movie prop) I cant remember all the parts they used on these bikes but there is very detailed information on the internet about what they did to these bikes... the company that built the bikes is "texan transport" look em up there are photos of the builds on their site... I have current pics of the bikes I can send to interested parties... The bike is fully functional, titled and street legal in the state of utah... however, these bikes were built to last through the filming of the movie... I dont think it would be a great idea to use as a regular rider... I havent been able to resist doing a few wheelies up and down the street... but the seat has the flames painted on... wouldnt take a lot of riding to wear it out... I love this bike and actually me and the bike were filmed on a episode of Hollywood Treasure... it has been alot of fun... but bottom line, I do not have a real great place to display this bike... I would like to sell or trade this bike..... asking 10k or trade for ??? email me for current pics at mmurry78@hotmail.com or you can call or txt me at 801 633-7719 located in salt lake city utah.. thanks Mike |
