Facebook bans Gandhi quote as part of revisionist history purge

I've seen Facebook doing this kind of stuff too often lately. Combined with continuing privacy idiocy, I've gotten out. The irony that a tool that is about free communication between people, would be censoring historically accurate quotes from Gandhi is just a bit much.

Don't even bother deleting your Facebook, it magically reactivates itself a few months later, I can't seem to figure out how to kill it off.

Frogs- THAT's scary, if YOU can't figger it out...

A while back I read about some groups who have been actively "killing" themselves off of Facebook, and assisting others in virtual "suicide" there too... maybe you could investigate.

I'd be curious to know. I rarely, if ever, bother to go there and check in on stuff, 100% lurker there.

I couldn't find how do kill my account so I did a search on it, and found a direct link. Jumped through a couple of hoops and it said it would be deleted permanently in 14 days if I don't log in during that time.
