That price tag is a killer tho. Way too close to Triumph Thruxton range money wise. |

That Enfield is cool looking but missed the mark where power is concerned. The new Kawi 300 has more power than the Enfield 550. |

"each of the new bikes is expected to be priced under $20,000 in the United States when they arrive in 2014." 2014!!! |

For the price, one could get a used SR500, and add the alloy tank, spoke wheels, etc, and make one look like this, but with reliability + good dealer support from Yamaha. |

Nice article, but the GE dealer financing is old news: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/406 2/700505.html?1355152819 And we've known about the 3 upcoming models (RX, SX, and AX) priced under $20k for some time, but that's the first I've seen of a 2014 release date. I'm hoping they're wrong about that. |

Do Yam dealers really work on bikes as old as SR500's? |

"EBR [has] three new models in the pipeline" My coffin is also in the pipeline. Any bet on which will arrive first? I'm going to buy a new bike next year and would like to have the option of getting something from EBR but it feels like I'll die of old age before that happens. |

I'm going to buy a new bike next year and would like to have the option of getting something from EBR but it feels like I'll die of old age before that happens. Another article I've seen claims the RX will be on sale next year. I'm pretty sure that Court has stated here that all the new bikes are designed and tested and ready to go into production. I suspect that now that the GE dealer financing is arranged, things will move along quicker. There was no point in EBR releasing new bikes if there was no dealership network to sell them. Now that dealers can get financing from GE to buy bikes from EBR, it'll be easier to sign up new dealers, and the existing dealers will be ready to start ordering bikes. That gives EBR a lot more incentive to release the new bikes soon. HOPEFULLY EBR will put out some official info soon. |

The wheels of progress are turning painfully slow. While it's hard for me/us to wait and wait, it's probably the most sensible, healthy and realistic way to go about successfully launching the best motorcycle line the world has ever known. At least our kids will live to see fruition. Erik aint no spring chicken either. This has got to be killin him! |

Another article about the same info: http://www.autoevolution.com/news/erik-buell-racin g-teases-3-new-bikes-after-getting-ge-capital-fina ncing-photo-gallery-53183.html Interesting quote: "We believe all this secrecy will not last for long, as EBR has to move really fast after gaining momentum with the new financing. Receiving money to develop a stronger dealership network across the US to sell the current amazing 1190RS beast, all our hopes are to see EBR starting producing the new machines and having them in the new showrooms." |
