Re: Chemtrails. I'm skeptical. Contrails were a major deal in WW2. They were an arrow pointing at your bomber formation, or your fighter/recon plane. Persistent, long lived. Hours. Enemy fighters could follow the contrails right to you... It's not that easy to see a boat in the ocean from above or a plane in the sky. Especially when you are airborne. You have a larger angle of sky to scan, and the problem of looking through more atmosphere looking sideways. You find ships at sea by the wake. Ditto the contrails. Accepted, fuddy duddy science, ( verifiable by repeatable experiment ) says at certain temperature and pressures, water vapor will condense. There are factors involving dust particles to form the nucleus of water droplets, and cosmic ray effects, but in short, steam condenses. Jet engines, like the Merlins and P&Ws of WW2 make water vapor, in abundance.. You are burning a LOT of hydrocarbon fuel. Water and CO2, are what you get from that. Plus, the Unburned Hydrocarbons, Oxides of Nitrogen, and CO that are the unwanted remnants of combustion. ( hydrogen burning engines just put out water and perhaps the oxides of Nitrogen, and would make contrails just the same... heavier, even. ) How am I supposed to tell the difference? Stevens claims the contrails are different from the chemtrails because of how they disperse? How can you tell? What if all the trails you see are chemtrails? I can understand being able to tell if Pan Am was in on the vast conspiracy, and Eastern was not. And You Knew that. Then you could compare trails from the 2 airlines where they were close in time and position. | ||

HAARP sounds a lot like scalar wave stuff, none of which is "proven" or unclassified, and zip whistle blowing good guys involved. Now in Russia, where the Scalar research supposedly was, whistle blowers tended to end up in Siberia or dead, ( and protesters against Putin do, today. Just like old times, With oil and far more money ) so all you've got is conspiracy theory stuff. In the end, what makes me skeptical is the extreme broadness of the claims for both. Cold explosions at a great distance ( scalar ) weather control, steering hurricanes, death rays, mind control, earthquakes, etc. etc. So.... skeptical. Now Fracking certainly CAN cause an earthquake, if fluid is injected on a fault line. Years ago in CA research ( not fracking ) squirting fluid into a fault line freed it up and produced small quakes. For a mercifully short time they thought they might have a trick to relieve the pressure on the faults and make controlled, soft quakes to prevent big ones. Then they woke up to the fact that Quakes are large scale and not so easy to manipulate. Chaos theory, butterfly effect, and the real possibility that by easing a LA quake zone they could transfer stress to SF or Washington causing "the big one" or land slide tsunamis ended that project. Can we steer a Hurricane? Sure. Aim it precisely? I really doubt it. But cloud seeding ( the real world origin of the Chemtrail cult ) in the right spots, at the right time, could alter the course of a hurricane. I have doubts as to the precision or effectiveness of such efforts and suspect we run into inability to model good enough to do so, ever. ( and the GW cultists assure us they can predict the planetary average temperature within fractions of a degree centuries away. Can't predict last year, mind you. ) Now, I'm all good with discussing crazy science. All, by the way, quite real, even if full scale working hardware for some is either classified or not built. Thank the Gods! in the case of Pluto. They actually tested the full scale engine, and it worked. They stopped before testing the entire missile in free flight. Unstoppable killing machines NEVER work out in the movies. But Haarp exists. Does it do all the magic things? i dunno. It's a classified government project that's not all that big or obvious, so there might be enough security to keep it's wonders secret. Alas, I know why we can't have the flying car. People can't drive. They'd be crashing all over the place. The FAA can't handle the traffic they have now. They want an automated traffic control system to let them deal with it, which requires autonomous piloting systems. Also, a good airplane doesn't make a good car & vice versa. So, eventually you will be able to take a flying taxi, and own a flying car, but you won't really fly it much. Now, I'd really love a flying motorcycle, but the closest thing out there is an Ultralight Trike, ( running from 250 enduro to touring bike relative capability ) and I want VTOL without the rotor issues of a helicopter. ( also available in a solo ultralight version ) | ||
