I HAVE watched the video. I see Crowder blabbing in Tony's face...then the camera pans right..then I see Tony getting up off the ground and hitting the first person he sees...Crowder. Maybe the guy to Crowders left punched Tony and knocked him down. Tony gets up thinking Crowder did it and returns fire. Wonder if there is more than one camera to catch this on film? All I am saying is it is NOT perfectly clear what happened off screen before Crowder gets clobbered. I don't really care that you are bashing the union on this...REALLY. I am over it completely. I just have not seen the WHOLE thing shaking down from start to finish. The videos SUCK...simple as that. And for the love of God knock off the name calling. I have not called you names.

To be fair, I feel probably stronger about MSNBC. But you can't judge Fox by the talk show guys. It's if the news is real, reported with minimal bias, and actually reported. Fox will run with anything sex related a bit ahead of the old 3, but you will get stories that the Old 3 don't touch, because they are massively biased.
Where was the wall to wall reporting on the 2000th casualty in Afghanistan? Zip. Not the plan for the days news passed on to the editors by the daily conference call with the White House manipulators, and not the leftist reporter board either. ( what's the name of that board? I forgot )
To be honest I shouldn't judge MSNBC by the lunatic rantings of what's his face that moved to Al Gore's network, or Chris "tingles" Mathews. Both show classic signs of delusional behavior.
If you really want to get the news, as close to real as possible, you have to do the ideological dance mix. Rush, who will tell you how bad the D's are. (but knows less about science than a 5th grader) NPR, who will tell you how bad the R's are. ( and still think Stalin could have made a real go with Communism, if only he'd been as smart as they are ) Then check the Drudge Report, then the Drudge Retort. Throw out the obvious talking points of the day, since you know they are distractions, and when 2 views are polar opposites, they are probably both wrong, but there is a tiny bit of fact somewhere in there.
Then again, I'm skeptical. I don't buy conspiracy theories. ( but when you have video of an Administration hack saying that a certain bill is supposed to destroy a business, at a speech at a Union leaders fundraiser, or CPUSA rally...... )

Here's the thing about this incident. One side is freely telling his story with video evidence (and the physical evidence of the tent, etc.). The other side is hiding somewhere from the police and media. Come forward Tony, tell your story. Let us know exactly what happened that lead to you being on the ground. Of course it looks to me like something happened in the crowd behind the camera man and worked it's way forward causing the cameraman to lose frame of his subject and it continued working forward probably causing Tony to trip and fall. Then he just gets up and starts swinging at the person who he is upset with. Meanwhile Tony is part of a crowd who is cutting down a large tent on those inside and threatening to kill Crowder with a gun. Tony, Please come forward!
Unions have got to get their heads out of their ass. They just keep pushing for more and more even in times of economic hardship. See Hostess. This creates even worse economic conditions. The unions supported a Candidate for President who is pretty much anti-business (I see he has just released a new set of rules that will make running a business more costly that he held for AFTER the election). This makes economic conditions worse. Unions work AGAINST their company and their customers at the worst possible times (see the security guards threatening to strike at JFK during Christmas travel). That isn't negotiation, that's extortion. An agreement signed under duress should never be a valid agreement.
Aesquire, I have to agree with what you say about where you get your info. I try to cross-reference ANYTHING that sounds like it could be the least bit questionable. That tends to be almost anything beyond very basic facts, such as "there was a shooting at a school yesterday".
Good unions are good, and a valid and necessary means for workers to communicate with company executives.

6gears, what questions about the video are not answered? What happened that you can't see on the tape? Sorry, that can't be answered by the tape. It is what it is. Anything beyond that has to be filled in with witnesses. Witnesses from the union side are in hiding. That to me speaks volumes. Tony is a single individual that happens to be singled out by a video. However he was acting as part of a union mob who were destroying private property and assaulting a large number of people. Tony has just become the poster child of this mob.
Fat Pig Tony was blocking the RTW people from stopping the other union turds behind him from tearing down the tent... and pushing towards the RTW people. Maybe if he slowed down on the donuts he could see his little feet and what he tripped on before he fell.
It is official. Crowder has filed a complaint with the state police. If the police fail to find Tony, it's more than clear they are putting politics ahead of the job that they are paid for by the public. I sure hope the police can prove my skepticism to be misplaced. It shouldn't take more than a day for a rookie cop to figure out who Tony is.

Again. Unions can be good. I have some issues with mine, but some of that is the political donation thing, ( which I think I've made clear, if you are taken for granted, you are taken. ) and some is really not their fault. Simply put if we strike, we break the law, and the last time that happened, we got shot.
Unions can also be evil. SEIU, for example, supports illegal immigration, IF they can exploit the workers themselves. Also an international leftist socialist organization. Some union LEADERS are real scum, and live very high on the hog. NYC's Teachers union is a good example of a very bad example.
It's not all one way or another.
What would you do if you had the friendly conversation I wrote above? Being told that the Union knows who your family is, where they work and go to school, and btw, here's your ballot with your name on it so they know if you are for them or not?

BTW F22, I do understand your point about dividing us. They tend to do so with lies. I will never accept lies to avoid division. I also can't prevent lies being told with the intent to divide. The truth is NEVER the problem.
Having said that, I have come to accept the division, and all that is on the horizon because of it. I will do my best to be prepared for this division of our country. I intend for the side of truth to win.
I'm completely ok with division as long as it is along ideological lines. There is only one truth, one reality. You either are on the side of that truth or you are on the side that opposes that truth.
What usually happens, as has happened in this discussion, is that individuals justify the untruth because they have other, more self centered motives.
I will never accept untruths for the sake of harmony. I will combat lies where ever they exist.
I am on the side of truth also, as I have never believed that there are two "correct" sides to a story, there is only right and wrong. (good vs. evil) The problem is that everybody thinks they know the truth..and are on the side of good. Step back, and observe a situation without judgement or prejudice. They will continue to divide us to quietly pursue their agenda, with none of us winning.
