if you think the US g-ment is bad about spying etc or wanting to tax more... the UN will be far far far worse than anything our g-ment has conjured up thus far.

If you are in the Tingle crowd with MSNBC you're supposed to spell it Faux News.

I leave you to believe the lies you wish to.

Nope, I was wrong. You are a fool for discarding information verifiable elsewhere.

So, does Cyclonedon have a preference for incompetent and dishonest "news" sources? That would explain his ignorance and wrong views on many things. I "googled" the ambassadors name as "ambassador terry kramer" and in the first two pages, Nada from CBS, NBC, MSNBC, ABC. Zip.

And you can't tell me NPR is rightwing. Those folk are convinced Stalin would have made a go with Communism if only he was as smart as they are.

I don't mean this as a personal attack Cyclonedon, I'm just wondering why you spout leftist propaganda RE: the hate against a competent news source. Who told you Faux News was evil? The President? Your Mother? ( mine does. She's drunk the koolaid including the "if you disagree with Obama you are Racist" rant )

While Fox's reporting is often half assed and full lies, spin, and half truths, this is something you can easily find out about from a dozen sources.

This one is bad news for everyone.

While Fox's reporting is often half assed and full lies, spin, and half truths,

While TELEVISION is often half assed and full lies, spin, and half truths,

There, fixed that for you.

Fox's reporting is often half assed and full of lies. It's a shame that it's the best out there.

What major media outlet doesn't have a political viewpoint? I think fox is outnumbered big time but somehow has been very successful.

What are some major stories fox covered beginning in 2008 that the other networks would not because of political leanings?

All the mainstream media are ultimately owned by the same organizations who set up and control the United 'Nations'.

The agenda is now in your face, unless you choose not to see it.

In a related story, the local newspaper announced that it's online content would switch to a subscriber system. The local TV station had man-on-the-street interviews and Fresno resident Scott Wilkinson expressed, “We get our information online. We learn a lot from online: schooling, sports, classifieds. I don't think we should pay for this at all.”

It is far from the best out there.

Al Jazeera as best as I can tell reports the facts without political bias.

Nah, he said he doesn't think we should pay, he never said he should be free. No website is free, not even Badweb, but someone is paying to keep the lights on.

Nobody wants an "obama-phone". They are bottom of the line prepaid brickphones with bare minimum coverage and minutes. There is a list of requirements to get one, but if you have one, you have way bigger things to worry about in life.

I don't see how any of this garbage has anything to do with the original subject

"Al Jazeera as best as I can tell reports the facts without political bias."

I've found that their coverage of U.S. events is often better than 'our' coverage. It seems the our media is more interested in celebrity goings-on than actually providing meaningful coverage of things that we should know or be concerned about.

"Al Jazeera as best as I can tell reports the facts without political bias."

Not anymore Froggy.

“There is no independent media anymore. It is whose agenda is paying the money for the media outlet,” he said. “Politicization of media means that media outlets are today like political parties. Everyone is adopting a point of view, fight for it and bring all the tools and all the means they have in order to make it reach the biggest amount of viewers.”

I do like RT, but with any organization - there is always an axe to grind.
It is why you try and get the information from as many sources as you can.
It is the core of fusion intelligence. Hell the Navy will have a different take on the intel from an event than the Marines.
which is correct ?
it is better to understand the bias - and build the best picture you can from multi sources.
As for American Network credibility - what they DON'T report speaks volumes of their trustworthiness.

What really makes me laugh is the following truth.

The New York Times prints serial lies and participates in a cover up of a politician's affair. Multiple times.

The National Enquirer published stories on politician's affairs, and is shown to be right. Multiple Times.

If it was up to "mainstream" "Establishment" "news", You'd never know John Edwards was such a scumball that he not only had an affair while his wife was dying of cancer, he had a child with his mistress. Wait, It gets better! He had his mistress live with a staffer and his wife, and paid the staffer to claim the child as his own. With money he claimed was a campaign donation, but was actually from a little old lady who, for some reason wanted to protect him. ( I hope she had fun )

Lied about all of it for a long time...

While running For President.

I guess he figured the "D" after his name meant the NYT would protect him.

He was right.

Oh, BTW the fraking UN wants to Control the Internet.
