Do you have any explanation for the photo? Would like to know if he was reviewing it or he is going to be riding it on tv or did he buy it and own it. Either way that is bad ass love Top Gear. (The UK version) |

Well he's most likely able to afford one so he probably just bought one. I know I would if I could. |

I hope they incorporate it into the show somehow. That would be great. |

Clarkson will only ridicule him for looking like a hunched up Transformer speed racer should the 'Hammster' show up with the bike on set. |

I thought he was too short to sit on an 1190RS. Perhaps there's hope for me yet. |

I don't think Hammond is empirically short...just shorter than the orangutan...er, Clarkson. |

How insensitive. He's not short. Like me, he's inseam challenged. |

He's short. No doubt, he makes the bike look way larger than it really is! |

Lots of chatter about this photo on Facebook. Jeremy Clarkson (also of Top Gear) posted it on his page, Erik Buell Racing posted a link to that on their page, and Erik himself posted a link to the photo on his personal page. (Message edited by Hughlysses on November 18, 2012) |

heh...it appears Erik still has his sense of humor. His post on FB, regarding Richard's apparent age in the photo: Erik Buell Actually, this was before the return trip, which de-aged him as the 1190RS exceeded the speed of light the other direction.

Well, looks like it showed up in the bike messenger-rocket scientist episode of Hammond's new series "crash course" http://www.bbcamerica.com/crash-course/photos/rock et-scientist-bike-messenger/#1087 Wonder if it's his or if it was a demo.... |
