A friend of mine in California has a fuel-injected S-3 that pops the dip-stick out after reving or shutting off. He has checked all breather hoses and oil level, they are all normal. I am unable to look at it, any common concerns. thinking excessive blow-by??? Help if you have seen this before!

Agreed- it's almost certainly too much oil. The oil level in the tank might have been OK when he checked it, but a lot of it could have drained into the crankcase. When he cranks the engine, most of it pumped back to the thank where it should be and pops the dipstick. |

If you get a Banke oil fitting, you rarely see this. Don't know ifBanke still makes/sells them any longer. |

I knew girls with thumbs like that....Look around it is more common then you think it that age-group. I went-out with a girl who had them and the doctor told her it was a result of anti-morning sickness drugs her mom took!
