Hi Graham. I just had a conference with my insurance company yesterday as to why I would need such a heavy duty truck for non commercial personal reasons.....She had a difficult time with the "my truck is bigger than your truck" argument.(My brother has a four door 4x4 Dodge dually diesel) I plan to build a stand up incorporated into the roof, and back of the cab, sleeper/camper. Then it gets it's short bed style side pick up box. If the camper part goes well with the time constraints I live with, it will have a slide out like those found on modern campers complete with a camper type bathroom. |

Recently finished a red truck... Thought it would be a great bike hauler, track day vehicle--office up front, work bench area in the middle, hauler/cargo in the rear, lift gate, flashing light bar in case you're running a tad late and need to skip a few stop lights.

NICE.....but you would need the backing of a small government to afford one! |

Hey folks, figure I'll throw this out there... I've got a neighbor down the street who's looking for a reliable, cheap, beater truck- anything with a 4banger from the usual suspects that won't break down, and get him from A to B and back. He's fallen on hard times lately, has a 16YO son, and REALLY needs some reliable wheels. He might consider a small car, but a truck is what he needs... I'm still driving my '92 kingcab Nissan, love it, with a new timing chain it'll probably outlast me. If I could find something like that for him, it'd be awesome... Of course I'm watching CL for him, but if any of you good BW peeps have a lead, give me a holla. |
