I hope to go out in about an hour. We can drive 30 minutes north of the city and get a decent dark sky. No moon, very clear. Only worry is fog coming up. We are talking about the Orionind meteor shower. |

We did not see more than a couple but saw a wonderful sky and the kids like it. Nice for them to see a dark sky, there are so few stars in the sky in the city. |

I was out on the deck for an hour and a half last night with a flashlight and didn't see a single meteor. This morning I went out in the backyard looking for their remains, 'cause I think I heard one bounce off the roof while I was sleeping. Are they like deer? Do you need to put a sign out so they know where to go? |
