The did open the new shop in July. They put off having a grand opening event until they were more settled though.

if this dealership carried EBR i would have no reason to ever step foot into any other dealership again and Would probably only go to the i.m.s. to laugh at grown men wearing s.o.a. vests. |

Next time you are in there, just causally mention to Geoff how well EBR would fit with the rest of their product line. Last time I did that, it lead to some interesting conversation. |

Stopped in today. Had to buy a part anyway. Good sized turnout at 11:00 am considering it was down in the 40s. I asked about the new Street Triple and Daytona. They didn't have much info beyond what's been noted here, with one glaring exception. The new exhaust on the 675s does change the engine package and must be recertified by the EPA. Well if you are going through all of that trouble, you might as well do some tuning, right? About 10 more ponies for the Daytona! He didn't have any info on the Street Triple, but I doubt they would ignore it, given the known untapped potential in the current version. They also had a limited edition Daytona in a great looking gold/yellow/green color. Awesome looking color. I asked about picking up EBR, and he said it would be really hard adding another brand. I pointed out that they are now a "super store" and he dropped his head on the counter. He has mentioned recently that if Husqvarna doesn't start moving better he may be dropping them. He did say that he would love to be selling an American brand and HD is out of the question. I keep hoping. |
