Alright here we go.

Chris is Eddy's cousin by marriage, but Eric is Eddy's wife's uncle.
Eric's wife is Chris's sister (they're all from TN).
Chris saw Eddy's bike while he was out with Eric & thought it would be a laugh to sign it, as he's used to forging checks on the family account. Eddy thought he'd signed his own bike while asleep but realised that it wasn't his own signature when he remembered he couldn't write.

Erik doesn't know any of them.

Confused? you won't be, when.....
