What has the world come to.. Erik in a pinstipe suit??? On a serious note.. Very promising concepts in the way EBR will work with dealers, including JIT parts distribution. When EBR proves they are JIT with parts, that becomes a huge advantage. Now, if the shipping option includes sent to home address, perfect! (no second trip to dealer for something not in stock). This is exciting! |

When EBR proves they are JIT with parts, that becomes a huge advantage. My experience with Triumph has been much like that. Most items are stocked in a warehouse that gets it to the dealer very quickly. It's hard for me to imagine other manufacturers aren't doing the same thing, but I can't say from first hand experience. If they aren't, they are just behind the times. The rest sounds pretty good, assuming it's accurate. I know a local dealer has been in talks with EBR. I would love to see EBR at this dealership, even though I don't see myself paying $19K for a bike anytime soon. I assume more economical bikes will be in the future though. I may have to save that picture of Erik in the suit! |

I'm really not allowed to say. Let's just say, they've been around since the '80s, have a great reputation, and don't sell "Jap crap". I was talking to the owner a while back and suggested that EBR would be a great fit in their showroom, and he let it slip. He did ask me not to spread it around though. You didn't here it from me. |

I love that place. Almost bought a bike from them before I got my firebolt. Of all the dealerships my father took me too as a child that one sticks out the most. The day I learned of EBR That was the first dealership I thought of. |

Have you been in the new showroom? If not you need to see it. They are down the road in the old Ford dealership. Now they have actual floor space! |

They have assured me that they will keep what made them popular intact. I hope they are correct. |

I'm not positive but I think Pro Italia in Glendale Ca might be a dealer as well. They had an 1190rs on display with a sales tag in their show room for a bike show they had a while back that Erik was appearing at. Think I recall a conversation on badweb about it around that time too. |
