My kid has one of these: It's a bit less frilly, using laminated wood. I had to reinforce the axles and steering head and replace the wheel bearings 'cause his little 25lb butt was tearing them up. |

GREAT idea, for any brand! That last pic- are the footpegs on the front axle? Seems like the tyke should have a place to put his/her feet... |

Well, you're special. I'm sure yer momma told ya so. ;D Mine was one of these: It was the only bike my parents could find that was small enough for my tiny frame I was going as fast as I could petal at all times...I slowed down a little after landing on my face hard a few times. |

Talking of balance bikes.....I have just two left in stock that are drastically reduced to clear the shelf. These are new, boxed and ready to ship. Shipping to the US is around US$50 I think so not too bad. http://www.adrenalinmoto.co.uk/prods/pc30.html I have one army model and one police model left |

I've got one of those Schwinn pixie's in my garage right now! My sisters had a red one I would use on garbage day to pull my wagon around looking for junk. about a year ago I saw a blue one at a garage sale and couldn't pass it up. I've also got 2 lawnmower engine minibikes. 1969 Heathkit Boonie bike and a Bonanza from about the same year. Both of them are a bit too big for my 1 year old though he does know how to use a twist throttle. Anytime he sees a real motorcycle or is playing with a toy one he raises his throttle hand high, twists his wrist and makes engine noises. That started at about 7 months and was mainly v-twin noises. At one year he is making inline and 2 stroke noises too. He even bounces it off the rev limiter when he gets real happy |
