Wow, it looks like it'd be easier to preflight a 707 than to get that thing out of the driveway. I wonder if that guy isn't legit. Those are 10.5 gallon Aqualine tanks. I see some serious lights in the front. Maybe he's for real. I don't get the mirrors though. |

Why bother with the dang 4 mirrors, just get a camera facing backwards on a pivot, install joybutton on handlebar, or program to scan... WAAAY too much electronic crap. Takes all the joy out of it, IMHO. Gets my hackles up just looking at all the junk. |

Testing the charging my system is my guess "How much crap can I install before this thing actually quits runnin" I bet there is a Kenwood head unit, some Punch 45's, and a an enclosure on the back, right next to the fridge and microwave. |

Looks like a hardcore timed rally rider. The Goldwing that made an F-15 look simple was for the same sort of thing. |

Three iPhones of course, old boy. #1. Can be used as a telephone, blue toothed to the riders helmet. #2. Can be used as a third tier back up for: a. GPS location and navigation b. quarter mile times c. lean angle d. text messages e.clock f. Trip timer g. calender h. new reports i. eBay notifications j.radio tuner k. gaming l. family photo display m. misc. #3. I would set up as my weather radar.
Everybody uses weather radar now a days, don't they? I guess the real question is, how does one get by with less? Am I right?

What a contrast with the wiring diagram of a friend's bike from the '20's. with acetylene lights, the spark plug wire from the magneto is the only wire. |

If you had an accident riding that, a 3rd party might have a case to say that your attention was distracted from the road by all that stuff & you're therefore partly or wholly liable. Personally I wouldn't ride the thing, I hate all the visual display stuff, A basic set of gauges with needles is all I want. I can scan the whole lot in no-time & spot any anomaly when the pointer isn't where it should be. |

By the way, has anyone heard from Froggy? I haven't seen any posts from him here lately and he seems to have removed himself from Facebook too... |
