Heres what sucks to me - you buy either 5 flat or 5 curved, 20$ each pack. I REALLY wish they'd just sell a mix pack, 2 and 3, for the same price. I need flat and curved, but damn 40 bucks is a lot. Especially on top of a suction cup mount as well
While I've not checked it out yet, I was thinking tonight - is it possible to mount it on the headlight bracket inside the fairing on the 1125? Then you could do a forward facing shot showing the track, and flip it around to get a rider shot too.
Its a flat area (bracket), butIm not sure if theres enough vertical space to accomodate the camera.
Im trying to get everything set up for a car show/race im going to in just under 2 weeks (Nopi Nationals) I'll also be lookign to mount it to other peoples bikes and cars for different footage But with that in mind, I would NOT be using any of the sticky mounts on other peoples stuff, too costly lol
Don't know anything about the Gopro mounts, but we had a ton of fun with some vercro and sticking a camera on both the primary cover and the front fork brace on an M2 a few years ago. Watching the forks chatter through a Batletrax was priceless. A couple of the guys at Buell got copies to look at. Seems they had never thought of that view.

Yes it is. Not sure if it will fit very well with the stock windscreen, but works good with the ZG Corsa. You can see mine:
Vid looks like:
Front facing:
Rear facing: (my favorite)
I currently don't have it mounted there, I have put a sticky right at the bottom of the windscreen on the outside. Gets better vid quality by not shooting through the screen.
I've had it fall off while on my tank a couple different times, fortunately at low speed and I saved the cam. I've also been following a couple different 1125's when they were mounted on the pods. One time it was a brand new cam, he hadn't even used it yet. I had to dodge the pieces strewn across the road. I would trust the clip-in only mount.
And, I always use a bit of safety wire on the camera to a bolt even with the sticky mounts. You can kinda see it on the bottom right of the base of the camera in that picture.
I can't answer on the removal of the mounts, never taken one off.

On the frame with the suction cup, it fell of after the run, fortunately after.
On the gas tank of the Tiger, it stayed pretty well.
Hard mounted in place the blinker.
Hard mounted on the handle bar.
All (with the exception of the handlebar mount) had a tether, good thing too, we all watch it fall off Charlie's bike, fortunately we were stopped at the time. Oh and handheld .... not all GoPro footage on this one...
