Wal-Mart vs. The Morons

1. Americans spend $36,000,000 at Wal-Mart Every hour of every day.

2. This works out to $20,928 profit every minute!

3. Wal-Mart will sell more from January 1 to St. Patrick's Day (March 17th) than Target sells all year.

4. Wal-Mart is bigger than Home Depot + Kroger + Target +Sears +
Costco + K-Mart combined.

5. Wal-Mart employs 1.6 million people, is the world's largest private
employer, and most speak English.

6. Wal-Mart is the largest company in the history of the world.

7. Wal-Mart now sells more food than Kroger and Safeway combined, and keep in mind they did this in only fifteen years.

8. During this same period, 31 big supermarket chains sought bankruptcy.

9. Wal-Mart now sells more food than any other store in the world.

10. Wal-Mart has approx 3,900 stores in the USA of which 1,906 are
Super Centers; this is 1,000 more than it had five years ago.

11. This year 7.2 billion different purchasing experiences will occur
at Wal-Mart stores. (Earth's population is approximately 6.5 Billion.)

12. 90% of all Americans live within fifteen miles of a Wal-Mart.

You may think that I am complaining, but I am really laying the ground
work for suggesting that MAYBE we should hire the guys who run
Wal-Mart to fix the economy.

This should be read and understood by all Americans: Democrats, Republicans, EVERYONE!!

To President Obama and all 535 voting members of the Legislature

It is now official that the majority of you are corrupt morons:

a.. The U.S. Postal Service was established in 1775. You have had 234 years
to get it right and it is broke.

b.. Social Security was established in 1935. You have had 74 years to get it
right and it is broke.

c.. Fannie Mae was established in 1938. You have had 71 years to get it right
and it is broke.

d.. War on Poverty started in 1964. You have had 45 years to get it right;
$1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to "the
poor" and they only want more.

e.. Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965. You have had 44 years
to get it right and they are broke.

f.. Freddie Mac was established in 1970. You have had 39 years to get it right
and it is broke.

g.. The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence
on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of
$24 billion
a year and we import more oil than ever before. You had 32 years to
get it right
and it is an abysmal failure.

You have FAILED in every "government service" you have shoved down our
throats while overspending our tax dollars.

AND YOU WANT AMERICANS TO BELIEVE YOU CAN BE TRUSTED
WITH A GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM??

Well, you may or may not have known that Hillary C. was on Wally's Board before Bill became POTUS. Oddly enough they had a balanced budget.

You may be on to something. But these smart folks probably would not take the pay cut or public scrutiny that they would be subjected to as gbmt employees.

Maybe if we vote for independent thinkers, instead of those in either the blue or red cults, or leaders could use common sense to get something done. In other words vote them all out of office and put in free thinkers, not followers. Rant over!
INDEPENDENT (nonconformist)

Wallyworld is stepping into Health Care.
As of last months look - they are NOT accepting Medicare, Medicaid, and have not committed to third party payers - cash, on the barrel head. Volume, discount pricing, generic health services ....
They will change the game if they put more than a toe in this market.
It will obliterate any basis for the need of "Reform" - as it was written.

Democracy is so fickle. If you are moderately successful people are generally happy for you. If you are extremely successful people go democratic on you! "Share the wealth you filthy big corporation!" Do we fear them when they are so successful perhaps because they make us feel helpless?

It is coming: The First Bank of Walmart.
Walmart Hospital
Walmart discount senior homes
Walmart Auto/home/life/health Insurance etc.
Walmart brand cars etc.

With their capabilities they could do it all so easily.

As a home office employee of Walmart and in the IT side of the house....

I can tell you those numbers are old, the true numbers are much larger, for example.... 2.2. mil employed and this number will rise to 4 mil by 2020. We also have over 5k store domestically and a total of just over 10k internationally under 55 different brand names.

As for the The First Bank of Walmart... it already exist, it's call Arvest Baank.

As for the business of Healthcare.... somebody has some insider knowledge.... I can verify everything that CitySlicker said.

Lastly, the profit numbers are way low.... based on our latest quarterly earnings.

Not meaning to pick on Oldog, but what he said is a huge part of the problem we have in health care. With insurance that covers everything, except for a small co-pay in some cases, we are unwilling to accept anything but the best doctors to perform the most routine of health care services. The whole system is built to make the customer not thing about finding a good value, but to search out the most expensive health care available. This is what you get when you decouple the service from the payment as we have done with health care and insurance. Is it any wonder that insurance costs have gotten so incredibly out of hand. Certainly there are other contributing factors too, but this is a big one.

Cityxslicker has a newly minted MPA in Health Care management 10 years of medical claims management, audit, sales, brokerage and insurance compliance.

Add that to 15 years in MI analysis - and it is not too hard to figure which way the wind blows out of the Bentonville / Rogers origin.

PS, I have read the PPACA bill in its entirety (several times) - that bill will create pure carnage and chaos that well position Walmart to rewrite the industry.

Why am I not working there for them helping the health care change ? Ask KeneXa
