I look forward to seeing you guys n gals there, of course representing... Guy, How are you healing after your fall? I rode with you at Homestead trackday with my buddy Jeff on the 1125r and I was on the blue 97 F2. We didn't go the day you fell but talked to you briefly in Shawn and Rob's pit at Daytona. Have you talked to Drew about going to watch? (Message edited by skntpig on September 06, 2012) |

SKNT--- I'm 100% movement and about 90% strength. Doctor said I shouldn't ride unless I have the 4 metal bars removed first since they are pointed at my throat. Haven't decided yet since it's a major operation. See you in homestead Talk to Drew about what? Maybe I was still on the painkillers and don't remember.!! |

Understand now, I'm sure he'll be there but I'll check. By ride I meant on the track, I was back riding on the street at about nine weeks. My family seems to think that's OK and the track is dangerous. Working on maybe control riding for novice to get back out there. |

Just watched race 1 of Superbikes. Best race I've seen in a long time! Great race by Slick and May! |

Great job Goeff leading most of the first 12 laps! Nice to see an EBR in the front, all things considered. Looks like tire choices made a big difference in SBK2 in the dicey changing conditions. |

the racing was great - mostly due to conditions the track looked 2nd- or 3rd-rate, + xtra dangerous when wet! for race 2, I tuned inlate, on lap 4 - what happened to Danny, Blake, & Yates? |

Announcer said Danny & Blake chose to sit this one out because of the conditions on the track. |

I think that Danny & Blake [+ others, too?] made a good decision to sit it out Firebird New Hampshire Gateway the ugly injury stories are legion...... |

Not to mention that ugly painted white line going from all out into a mid-speed turn. Geoff May looked good, sans the front rain tire giving him grief. I wish Eslick would have went out. Probably wasn't his decision. |

The entire field was on wets but Josh Hayes. From the stands you could tell the track was drying. If the track would have stayed wet I think the outcome would have been different. Geoff said he practiced in the rain and was only 9 seconds off his best dry lap. Very cool that he took the time to hang out during the lightning delay. He's very down to earth and a genuinely nice guy. He said the front rain was so good it was tough to try to turn off the fact that it was raining, it stuck like glue. I think he was looking forward to the rain race. Tires just got cooked on the mostly dry track. He said Danny didn't like the rain but it was still surprising to not see him start. |

That track is marginal in the dry from what I could see. In th ewet, with those concrete patches right on the line??? I don't think it is a very good palce to be racing. AMA need to make them step up and fix that pavement before next year. |

MAN WHAT A RACE!!!! I watched both races last night and race 1's battle between Eslick and Young made my heart race, THAT is what racing is ALL about!!! GREAT RACE!! Race 2 was AWESOME to see! and next time we'll get the win! Just shows the strong points of the 1190 and on those tight tracks they are just relentless! Cant wait to see more!! Jake |

I think 'slick earned the break - race 1 was un-(words that I can't put here)-believable. I watched it about a dozen times on youtube on my phone today at work, and passed it around to some coworkers who are also interested in this crazy stuff. Even the guys who aren't into racing were flat amazed. What a show. And, how cool is it to hear Speed commentary about "notice how stable that EBR is under braking", and "they're doing all this without traction control or wheelie control or any electronics". AWESOME airtime |

The concrete patches weren't always there. The cars messed up the track. It isn't bad in the dry but real sketchy in the wet. The messed up thing is that there was a storm brewing but was around the track. AMA decided to wait 45 minutes...for lightning apparently and then start the race. Almost like they were waiting for it to rain. On the warm up lap it started raining so they called it a wet race and waited a half hour for everyone to switch to rains. It was almost like when they held up the 200 in Daytona until DeSalvo replaced his motor after oiling the track. I do trackdays there and the areas that Eslick was passing in are NOT normal passing zones. Both him and May made the whole place go crazy with their performance. Lots of EBR fans now based on the crowd reaction. Great stuff despite AMA not having a smartphone with radar. |
