According to this http://www.usacracing.com/ppihc/news_ppihc/5606.ht ml with the fully paved course, a MultiStrada came in within seconds of the new overall car record. It was actually faster in the last (highest/thinnest air) section than the turbo car. Just think how much faster an EBR could have run! I am looking for results listing bike brands. |

In the Exhibition Powersport class a Yamaha R1 ran. You can find in-saddle video of that run on You-Tube. The 1205 field was dominated by Ducs. There were two XR1200s but they were, well, you know. motorcycle results: http://tinyurl.com/cmh92gr As a lark I emailed EBR at the general address with URGENT in the subject line and asked, "please send Danny and the 1190rs to Pikes Peak next year." Believe it or not, I got a reply! Maybe we can get a sponsor to support that one of these days... I'm not sure who read my message or who responded. Make of it what you will. |

Yeah...I can understand having it partially paved...but with the fully paved course it just isn't the same. |
