I would set that reg/filter about 12-18 inches from the tank and simplify the fuel feeding system. The LS is a bit more forgiving, in its stock form anyway, and will work just fine from 50 to 60 PSI.

You can buy all the high dollar Earl's Plumbing, et all, or just get some quality FI fuel line and FI clamps (throw all those worm gear clamps in a bucket and have someone hide them so you aren't tempted to use them...DAMHIK.) I double clamp, but I'm not sure why I do as my single clamps have never failed or leaked.

PCM For Less may do the Mopar computer...not sure.

Nice project!

I am a 25 year Chrysler master tech who has taught courses for Chrysler on all the stuff that got real tech related. I have a strong computer as well as mechanical background, so use me as you feel necessary. B.T.W, there is so much about this drive-line that is so cool, and nobody in the real-word knows about.....Yes, with just software, I can change your Mercedes 5-speed (The best auto-trans, trust-me, as it is the same one they put behind 1000 #ft torque turbo-diesels) to a 7 forward and 2 speed reverse....Most of the new car options are all there, they just wait a model year or three to "turn them on" and charge you for them....If you only knew.... God I got to write that book! B.T.W, the New Hemi is probably one of the cleanest designed V-8's ever made. You can take one (on a engine stand) from running condition to bare block in under 10 min, no gasket scraping and reassemble with only new head gaskets in a half hour!

I've got a question for you, F22. I have a 2004 Dakota with the 3.7 V6. In 2004 you could also get a Durango with the Hemi. How tough would it be to drop one in the Dakota? Aren't they essentially the same vehicle?

OK, so here's the question of the hour.

Where the hell do I lift it from??

Planning to pull engine/trans as a unit. Can't exactly use the (plastic) intake as a lift point, and none of the accessory bolts look stout enough. Is there an engine plate I need to get? Chain wrapped around the exhaust manifolds?

Grrr.....

Carshop inc. I have a lift plate from them that bolts right up (right after you remove the composite intake and knock sensor cover).

Personally I would stay away from the exhaust manifolds. Some has to makeba cheap lift plate for that Hemi.
