We've been passing this video around on Facebook; if it's been posted here I've missed it. According to the caption on youtube: "Pilot Sizzle pitch for the history channel on Erik Buell's starting EBR after BMC closed down."
According to a caption in the video (regarding EBR's future plans): "They want to produce 4500 bikes in 2013 and employ 200 people."
To me, it was interesting to see the clip when Erik announced the closure of BMC- we all remember the feelings we had watching that- then each time he was on camera talking about EBR and the future, his tone and happiness were quite evidently 110% positive!

This video is private, and was posted by someone who stole it. The link has been appropriately killed by Youtube once they knew the facts, thankfully.
Anony, sorry to hear that, but I humbly offer that STILL was a great little vid to watch. Not cool that someone stole it/published it without proper approval though...
Does EBR have anyone handling publicity or media affairs? I'm only one of a horde of folks that remain hungry for good EBR news, hopefully getting a fix more than once per quarter- heck, good EBR news seems even scarcer than that.
Good ole Court's posts are always fun, but just NOT ENUF!
Hopefully that was a teaser spy pic leak on purpose! The marketing guy I met at Daytona looked like he would be subject to a BadWeather leak suggested by our own Court.
Hmmm if Court is this quiet he must be locked in Eriks basement being hand fed pork ribs. He is the usual leaker! but this video tease has CANFIELD written all over it.
I'm just glad someone leaked something. We're dying over here! It seems like we the faithful with lots of inside connections get any breaking news dead last and that aint right!
Note to EBR: forget press releases. Use us. Please. We WILL get the word out!
Motorcycles aside, the one thing that video reinforced is that Erik gave a sh*t about each and everyone of his employees and that speaks volumes to me about the type of company he ran and the type he runs now. Makes me proud to own a product that was built by people who were appreciated by a boss that was appreciated by them! Did that make sense? you know what i meant......
I'm very happy I got 2 major things out of that video:
1- A clear statement that EBR intends to go to mass production in 2013 2- A clear statement by an EBR designer that a whole line of bikes is currently being designed around the 1190 platform
I'm good for another month or 2 now, ESPECIALLY considering Geoff and/or Danny are bound to pick up another podium or 3 by the end of the season.
According to Dotcom's defense, the police operation against Megaupload was unnecessarily grandiose: "... armed officers arrived in helicopters and dropped into the Dotcom mansion courtyard."
