I know I've seen this somewhere, cannot find the thread though. Has anyone put 984 pistons into a 1203? |

IIRC compression ratios shoot up to something like 13:1. This might be challenging with pump gas. |

I have XB9 pistons in my 1203 tuber motor. It runs just shy of 12:1 compression and runs beautifully on 93 octane (even better on a tank of 100 octane). I used the stock crank and XB heads. Even my cams are cut just the same as XB cams. |

Cool! so you have the fancy beehive springs and narrow valvestems too? How did you manage the Cams? |

Custom grind to match the XB's, but with the correct bushing size to mount in the tuber bushings. Heads are completely bone stock XB heads. |
