Hammer you won't regret it I saw waters do Dark side in 07 and the wall twice in 11 and once last Friday. All shows were great. I was a little young to see Floyd without roger waters (for the most part) i was 15 when Pulse came out. As for with him I was 2 i think when he left. Would have killed to see all for of them in England for Live 8. |

Oh as a disclaimer I must warn our ultra conservative friends that this tends to be a liberal crowd so be warned! lol |

"Craaa-zeee, bars in the window, He is craaa-zee... He must have thrown all his maarbles awayyy... Craaa-zeee..." Gawddd I'd love to catch that show... When I had 8 teeth extracted in one sitting, with the blessed grace of a liquid valium drip, I'd planned to have my buddy drive me home with "Comfortably Numb" cued up on the cassette player... "Veraaaa, Veraaa..." Heck, the movie I've not watched in well over 25 years, but the GF would HATE it- they had a great reference to "The Wall" last nite on Top Chef, as each contestant stepped up to a giant meat grinder to get a bowl of fresh ground round...

Saw it in Seattle a few weeks ago. It was everything I remembered. Conservatives like the Floyd too you know. Netflix the making of the dark side of the moon. Great documentary. Interviews with band members, and Alan Parsons, the sound engineer for DSOTM. He went on to work on other projects. |

So ya thought ya Might like to go to the show. To feel that warm thrill of confusion, That space cadet glow. I've got some bad news for you sunshine, Pink isn't well, he stayed back at the hotel And they sent us along as a surrogate band We're gonna find out where you fans really stand. Are there any queers in the theater tonight? Get them up against the wall. 'Gainst the wall There's one in the spotlight, he don't look right to me, Get him up against the wall. That one looks Jewish! And that one's a coon! Who let all of this riff-raff into the room? There's one smoking a joint! And another with spots! If I had my way, I'd have all of you shot! |

In case you were curious thats what played right before the pic i posted. To be honest one of the coolest parts was the amount of work it must have took to make it sound as awesome as it did at Wrigley which may have the worst acoustics of any stadium ever. Oh that and you couldn't ask for nicer weather. |

That pic came from a pretty spendy seat I was there also, I have seen my share of live shows from a wide variety of artist. Words cannot describe the spectacle of light and sound that was put on at Wrigley field on friday night. |

I was 4th row, just to the right of the center isle. You don't want to know what I paid for that seat, and I'd rather not think about it. Sure was a good time though. |
