My knee is giving me fits and has been for a couple of years. It got to the point where I rode the XB about 800 miles last year as it was ride on Sunday, ice on Monday and limp the rest of the week. The Doctor says there not much he can do about it yet and a replacement is not something it take lightly and I'm to young for that anyway. So with a heavy heart I traded it for a Kawasaki Versys. Got drop pegs and a taller seat. PLUS I have more places to put my feet. Not a bad bike, no Buell that's sure. Now if Erik will get on the stick and roll the AT out I can get back on a Buell, At least Kawasaki got the muffler in the right place...wonder where they stole GOT yea GOT that idea from! Check the for sell board I am letting go some nice goodies. The Mini-Me and a friends wife named it...they have a Conni she rides, very well I might add! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v87/MarkN/Buell/ Versys/Mini_Me.jpg |

I suffered knee problems. Kneel down on either one and they would ache or swell, I'd limp for weeks. Left one went septic. Diagnosed as bone on bone and arthritis and bursitis and coupleotheritis. Arthritis specialist I got sent to tells me I have gout. Two pills a day for it and all is almost well. Do you ever have pain in the joint of your big toe or thumb? |

Nope just arthritis and beating them up for years working and playing. |

I have bad knees from 30 years of grade basketball. Best thing I have done for the arthritis is change diet. No acid foods at all - Tomatoes eg. Took 20 years off them. |

I had my L knee scoped in '07, torn/shredded miniscus. Then, my wreck in '08. Hopefully titanium is more durable, lol. Although, after moving a fridge the other week (and it fighting back), I've been in a velcro brace the last 3 weeks for work because of swelling. No pain, just swollen and lost-flexibility (right side, I can sit on my heel; left side, I'm about six inches off when pain sets in). THIS is what I get for being stubborn enough to survive?? lol |

I'm still hoping that Erik and crew have the AT out in a year or so and I have the cash to buy one. I really wish I'd bought a Uly instead of the STT. But that's water under the bridge. Birdy |
