Thanks Belinda. We are going to get her cleaned up and photographed this weekend. Unfortunately the two state jobs I interviewed for in the last few weeks are going to take at least a month or more for an 'official response'. Lawyers have really ruined the process of trying to get hired for anything these days. | ||

Your welcome, Char. Hate to see anyone leave the Buell fold, especially another female. There's what, a grand total of five of us? Definitely not a typical chick bike and there are even fewer of us who are willing (crazy?) enough to bag them out and ride across this great land of ours. I told my little man you were selling it and he said Noooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!! You'll still hang out here from time to time when you go to the dark bavarian side and beemer up, right? May be apples to oranges comparison, but our k75 is pretty reliable and mostly easy to work on like the buells. Adrian seemed happy with his also! There's a 700 cc sport touring honda that may be worth looking at (NT 700?) when u get back on your feet. My buddy in MN just got one and he likes it but it requires valve adjustments  . I'll do a RR when he lets me take it for a spin this summer. If we swap bikes he'll need a ladder or step stool to mount the X! Or maybe high heeled boots? (Some of those twin cities m/c guys don't mind that look ....yes that was a reference to "Purple rain") "Lawyers have really ruined the process of trying to get hired for anything these days." Truer words were never spoken. I used to work with corporate attys who specialized in employment law, and still have friends in the biz. No doubt it's gotten more difficult with more rules. And if you are the hiree in this economy? Fuggeddaboutit! Hang tight sister, and be creative with the job search. Look in places you would not normally consider looking and hanging with people outside your comfort zone. It's gotta get better! Ya throw enough al dente spaghetti at the wall and something will eventually stick! | ||
