Just saw this, for anyone interested. Looks like a pretty good deal on a Kershaw: http://sellout.woot.com/ I think this link, and this deal, will only work today (Monday). |

LOL "A free man can’t wave around a knife and scream at passersby on the street without getting tackled by the gestapo." |

I'll post a picture of them when I get home, I had every color available up till last year, then I decided to stop collecting them to make room for ponies. |

Most things that say Apple really fit the superior devices from the competition just fine. I use some things like the waterproof iPad bags for my Transformer tablet. I also got some ipod shuffle battery packs, they will work for anything that charges off USB. They were only a penny, figured I couldn't go wrong even if they didn't work (they were crap). |

Speaking of USB charging>I picked up a few of these jewels> 12V DC USB 5V Rechargeable Li-po Batteries (5V 5800mAh) http://www.ebay.com/itm/290658952256 Cheap power for my Iphones/IPads and cameras. The 10-13V port powers my LED lighting, Video monitors and other gear. |

Froggy, What's the knack to scoring all those "Bags of Crap"? I've never been able to get one. |

Nice, those are like my Energizer Xpal's that I've gotten from woot. Great to power devices on the go, the ones I have came with multiple adapters for most laptops, phones, and other electronics. Rwven - http://wooters.us, it is a tracker that can bring up the buy page automatically when the BOC appears. Made by a fellow badwebber |

See now - I learned something. I had no idea there was any such thing as random crap on woot. Now I just have to figure out how to find it. |

Part of getting them is knowing when they will come up. Personally I'm guessing May 23rd, between 4 and 5pm Eastern. When they do come up, you need to be fast, as the website gets overwhelmed by people trying to order it, so the servers end up dying, and its a crapshoot to actually get your order processed. The BOC is usually sold out within a minute or two of going live, depending on how badly the servers get killed. Be ready for the BOC, make sure your account is already logged in, and your credit card and billing info is pre filled, that way you just need your CCV number to quickly order. It isn't even worth it, $8 on garbage. Occasionally I get something nice, but the rest of the time its dollar store crap. A couple months ago I got a whole HP quad core AMD PC that doesn't work right, I fixed it up and am using it as a HTPC now. |
