Last time I posted about comps here, I had a cheap AMD build. Since then, I sold my eyefinity build and built a rig with an i5 2550K and a Radeon 6950 2 GB, amond other sweet parts. Looking back, I wish I would've saved my funds and checked the release date of Ivy Bridge (came out 1 week after I ordered my parts), and ordered a 3570K and saved for a GTX 680. But oh well. My favorite thing about this build is the Z77 Asus ROG Maximus V Gene motherboard. The Z77 Maximus Formula comes out in a matter of weeks though and looks amazing. I can't believe how easy it is to not be satisfied with anything I build :P. On the plus side, currently I'm stress-testing my OC, which is stable so far, @4.8Ghz.

That took a while for my phone to load....
Haven't had a workstation at home in years.
The one @ work is awesome though. 6 core xenon 8gigs half ter 2gig video card can't remember which one. I don't wait long for much.... |

I just built a budget PC....AMD 960T with all 6 cores running. OC'd 4.2 ghz 16 gigs of ram, gigabyte 99fxa-ud3 which has killer on board audio. EVGA 560, 64 gig SSD, 1T HD, OCZ 600 watt power supply, Coolermaster case and CPU cooler , win 7 pro
under 600 bucks with some hard shopping |

I almost replaced my FX4100 with a 960T when I had my AMD rig because of the 60+% chance of unlocking 2 more cores, but sold the rig as a whole instead of individual parts, so I ended up buying my current rig. |

I just bought an additional 8GB memory for my rig.
It was maxing out the 4 that I had in there when it was rendering my race videos.  |

Im still running my own custom build from 7 yrs ago! I have a AMD dual core processor and 2 nvidia video cards running in sli mode and 4 hard drives running sata raid.

Rendered another vid last night, it was using 9GB of the 12 installed, I would say that was a worthwhile upgrade. |

Preybird1, that looks a bit like an Antec SX-1040 case. I have the same thing for one but mine didn't come pre-cut for the window, had to do mine manually. The other is a Coolermaster, don't recall the model but it's even bigger. |
