Doesn't tii = early German fool (fuel)-injection? always wondered if that would be a headache. I'd be interested in tracking your progress if you wanted to share that periodically. Been a big fan of the 2002's for about 25 years. yep, touring international injection is what it stands for. It's a mechanical fuel injection system, as far as I know they are pretty simple. The car itself is a huge project, needs everything torn down and rebuilt. Id be happy to keep you updated on the progress |

Guell, hope I'm not being an arse, but do check it really is a tii, many stock 2002 have been "cloned" into tii replicas. Lots of info on Wiki if you need. I love 60s & 70s cars, I just want to open the door, stick my head in, & sniff. Enjoy your new toy. |

Grumps, no worries on that, its been my dads for the last 30+ years or so. It's a matching numbers tii, just needs a lot of love since its been sitting for a long time |

I've got to ask, I know we've drifted a long ways from this - but are these ACTUALLY billboards that are up? Or just internet pictures? Seems like a lot of hub-bub over what some joker on the internet created. Im sure theres a BadWeb'r in Detroit that could actually confirm the existence of these things. Im betting on them not existing. |

I did a little digging, granted I didn't look hard, but I saw nothing confirming they are official. GM has used its heritage in the past for advertising purposes, but these pictures do not have the same feel that most of GM's actual ads have. |

as soon as chevy builds a 400 hp v-8 without pushrods and smaller than 6 liters ill think about it. Displacement aside, the current GM small blocks are very small and light engines and get reasonable power/mpg figures (they used to be much better in the LS1 days). Personally, I think displacement is a rather irrelevant measure of an engine outside of racing - size of the package, weight, power and economy are more realistic measures. I did hear that they go through a "learning" process to learn your driving habits. I wonder if being a rental if that gets all messed up??? Transmissions going through a "learn" process is nothing new, so that shouldn't be the issue. Also, the fact that both cars acted the exact same way was a little telling. Aside from the Fiesta being almost dangerously slow, the trannys were my only complains about either car. NO CAR has more on board technology than the Focus with MFT. I love ya, Court, but sometimes you crack me up |

Ok, they are real, found some mentions on another forum that they have seen a few of them at the Woodward Dream Cruise back in 2007 |
