/threadjack, please !! so, what's "Cycle World" got to say about the 1190RS vs. the other exotics? |

I have been to races and seen the bike at VIR (testing on the old AMA race weekend), NJMP and DAYTONA. Yes I over simplified my statement because they need to run aluminum wheels and not the stock magnesium, fiberglass bodywork and not the stock Carbon Fiber as they are not allowed materials as per AMA rules. but the point I was trying to make was the 1190RS was built to be as the most competitive bike he could make to sell on the street and still have success on the race track. both the street bike and race bike are chain driven. the race bikes does have a lot of data logging sensors on them. The new cbr 100rr was the fastest superbike. It is going to run with the exotics in their test |

...don't forget the lead weight that the AMA requires to meet minimum weight requirements on the track. THAT'S not a street part! |

They matched the weights this year 370 lbs. Twins and inlines. |
