Yeah, I like their modern Sherlock. Of course, the recent films with Robert Downey (Ironman) Jr. are good as well. |

I'm a big fan. They did a good job of bringing it into modern times. Even so, Basil Rathbone is the sentimental favorite. My Japanese wife and has trouble with English accents and the BBC is a 50/50 proposition for her, although she did make it all the way through Downton Abbey. |

the actual books will all be off of copyright by this time but the character can be controlled in other ways although I doubt that it is; there have been far too many knock offs. |
