I am from IL and in Boulder, CO for the weekend. My buell has a custom tune from when i bought it. i never have liked the tune. but now that I am here it runs horrible in the high altitude. are there any independent shops that will help give me a good service job and fair price on emc reset or custom tune? if not which HD would you recommend? thanks. |

Your problem shouldn't have anything to do with altitude, as your bike is fuel-injected. Contact Frank Skinner in the B.R.A.N. section of this forum. I'll bet he'd know where you can find good service. |

Thanks Two_seasons, I was under the same impression but this is the first time it's ever acted like this. The map is a custom one from the previous owner, is there any way he could have fixed AFV's? I've never messed with ecmspy or anything, but this map has never been very good. I'm thinking we might be better off with even a stock map even though it has modified exhaust and open airbox mod/K&N. |

I'll bet AFV's are fixed like you said. If original exhaust, I'd go back to a stock tune as well. |

OK I feel like an idiot, I can't find the BRAN anywhere, which forum is that located within? Barker, I agree that that would be ideal, but that doesn't really help us this weekend. Would you recommend a stock tune over a broken one till the EBR race ecm is an option? |

Zack is no longer at High Country, but I would still suggest going there for help. |

If you switch ECMs you will need a TPS reset. (ECMspy) You can "flash" 2003-2007 ECMs with stock, race and custom maps that can be found on the internets. (ECMspy) To use ECMspy, you are going to need the special cable. |

You have to be logged into badweb to see the BRAN. |

Ah ok, that makes sense then- I have to re-login everytime I post. We did go to high country and found that Zack no longer works there, but they were still very helpful. His bike received a reflash to baseline, tps reset and new plugs (his had less than 1000 miles on them). Running better than it ever has- thanks badweb! |
