Just noticed this today. Certain words I type in BadWeb posts get enhanced...that is, they get hyperlinked automatically by BadWeb. What's up with that????? |

It's a pain in the ass. ESPECIALLY in titles. When it happens in titles, often you can't even get to the thread because clicking on the thread title takes you to vendor site. You have to make an end run around it if you for example type in A S B and remove the spaces, you automatically get a link to Americansportbike. Not that it's bad, you just may not have wanted to have that distraction. Same with E B R We're stuck with it. |

I know it happens with A-S-B:American Sport Bike. Used to happen with EBR but I guess they changed that due to frequent use in thread titles. (Message edited by notpurples2 on April 27, 2012) |

I'm not talking about A S B or EBR. I'm talking about typing a word such as "usual" and when I preview the post, certain regular words are underlined. If you mouse over them, it doesn't show any site in lower left corner, but does say TEXT ENHANCED. This is something new since yesterday as far as I can tell. |

Type whole sentences. Whole paragraphs. Here is what I'm talking about, original poster and the word "recommend" as he used it... http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/406 2/677602.html?1335540728 |

The only hyperlink I saw was Barker's to EBR. |

Maybe it's something to do with your browser. What are you using? |

Antimalwarebytes is a program you should download and use to scan for malware problems. Update it and run it fairly regularly. |

I'm seeing it from other posters on this site too. Common denominator is BadWeb! Have you noticed that you can't tab down (after entering your username) for your password entry either? |

Two_seasons, the common denominator is your browser, which runs on your operating system, which is likely infected with something. |

Have you noticed that you can't tab down (after entering your username) for your password entry either? No one else is having this problem. Oh and by the way, I just tabbed |

Yep sounds like you have spyware, use Malwarebytes |

And don't do any online banking or credit card purchases until you do. Purveyors of malware should be castrated and fed lunch. |

I get no additional links in that thread either. Tab function works too. |
