Those XB case sliders look very interesting. May I ask if they have undergone any crash scenarios to verify their effectiveness? |

Thank you Darth! The case sliders you see in the pictures are rapid prototypes. The production units are being machined now so they haven't had the opportunity to undergo real-world impacts as of yet. I can tell you that they have been designed & engineered using top quality materials that are designed to absorb impact and wear away during a fall while maintaining a strong base to minimize or eliminate any undue damage to your cases. That being said, the variability of impacts and basic physics become exponentially more severe and thus more difficult to predict at higher speeds so our csaes (or any crash protection really) should not be considered to be a "forcefield" for your cases and/or bike in all situations but a means to help to protect it. Our axle sliders on the other hand have unfortunately undergone accidents on several occasions and have yet to fail. In the most recent event, our customer's XB was pinned under a vehicle and there was absolutely no damage to the swing-arm. There's a picture of it on our Facebook site. Thanks for the question! If you have any further questions please ask. 5-0dro |
