Time Warner keeps going up and that's got the wife and I looking.

Has anyone had Time Warner or any other cable provider and switched to Direct TV.

PROS??
CONS??

Direct TV vs Comcast

DTV cheaper

Comcast- Faster more user friendly, ondemand, faster internet no contract.

Doesn't Comcast own Direct TV too?

I've had Dish Network, Time/Warner, AT&T U-Verse, and now Direct TV. Dropped AT&T due to cost but am finding out that Direct TV is almost as much and the DVR/Guide and service.......well.....sucks huge. I'll be trading back to U-Verse as soon as I can. It was worth the small amount of extra cash for the quality of service from AT&T.

We dropped Dish after about 12 years, they were good but we're cutting costs. We now have antenna, (which is awesome with all the old tv show channels) and Netflicks.

I use an antenna, no fee at all.

Rather be doing something instead of watching it.
