I'm debating staying at Alpine since I live 35 minutes away and would rather shoot the breeze into the wee hours of the morning with Buellers. Wanted to hit the races either Fri/Sat as well. |

I'd like to remind everyone that Two_Seasons has generously offered his garage for demonstrations. Seriously, this is a wonderful opportunity. Anyone with something handy to show or who wants to see someone else do something, please, please, please say something ! |

I'd love to see a demo. It's a great idea. What is the link to the site you have for it? |

Char, Surely the East Texas oilfield needs your skills. Check into Caddo Lake National Wildlife Refuge. They've been cleaning up the old rocket factory there for some time. Really neat place. You like gators, yes? |

Would there be any interest in a demo on "re-zeroing the TPS" or maybe offering to scan for codes or a data scan? |

Twirlin- The Alpine folks are well worth a nite, given their great level of service and amenities. After riding to/from TN, almost exactly 2000 miles for the HC trip on an 05 XB9SX, they were home, whilst not being home. |

Crusty, I instantly thought of "Deteriorata" when Court quoted the other version... Sometimes I think National Lampoon was a very regional phenomenon.. |

squids- Yes that is a very nice place indeed. I stayed there at the 2010 HC and liked it a lot. Basically I stayed because Erik's band was playing there and I planned on a long night. Screamer- Would need someone with a laptop and ECMspy but i doubt that's an issue. I could be that person. |

Keep the ideas for how-to's coming. TPS reset and displaying error codes can be done. We could even do them on-site at EBR if they would allow it. |

I ended up doing them for a few hours at the 2010 event, I pulled it out to help someone troubleshoot a running issue, then someone noticed, rolled over their bike and asked for one too, then it became monkey see monkey do and I was resetting them left and right. |

Froggy, If I remember correctly, people literally lined up in front of Alpine, waiting for you to do your magic. |

If there's any interest in tube frame suspension, I could demonstrate how to properly set the preload (etc.) on the late tube frame (and late recall) Showa shocks. |

I think the dot is a quarter or half turn fastener. I can't remember the right name for it. It would be nice to have a guided tour of some buell history. |
