Anyone own one and have any feedback? I quite fancy getting one but the new price seems a bit steep, having seemingly shot up to over US$2200!! Must be something to do with Joe Bonamassa playing them There was a used one at Cream Music at $500 a few weeks ago but of course I missed it Anyone know of any more used ones for sale? Must be willing to ship to the UK as there is no UK distributor for these instruments. |

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately the guitar is no longer there and it is an old link Finding one of these is proving harder than I thought....although I have spoken to 3 people who all said 'I used to have one of those but sold it...wish I still had it!'....typical. Thanks for the offer of shipping too Jim |

I see that one was in Fairfax, VA. You might want to root about some of the vintage (there are tons of them, start with Rivington) guitar stores in the East Village. I was able to find a 1950 Gibson tube amp I was looking for 2 years ago. If you call and they are wishy washy about if they have it or not . . . sometimes this stuff is literally piled in the back . . let me know and I'll go search. |

Well I gave up my fruitless search for a Chandler Lectraslide here in the UK (and the manufacturer was less than helpful!), so eventually plumped for one of these beauties from Andy Solloway sollophonic Guitars) in good old Yorkshire.
Mine has a natural Alder body made by Andy (some of the painted versions are recycled Tele bodies though) and he uses necks/pickups from Fender or Squire S type guitars with Continental cones etc. Sounds great plugged and acoustic and much cheaper than the Chandler too. I'm a happy chap again......Now where did I put that chewing tobacco and John Deere baseball cap |
