Bought a STAINLESS STEEL sink for $5 - yes $FIVE About an hour with Scotchbrite and Bon Ami, hook up drain and water and PRESTO: It's an 8 foot utility sink - perfect for scuba gear, washing grimy hands... usual stuff:

Another 30 hours and you could turn it into a mirror. Very nice find. I'll give you $40 for it. Wow. |

Our company has employee only salvage property sales. REALLY wanted a one-door safe as a gun safe but the first few people in line snagged the safes up before we could get our stink on them. They sold a steel workbench with bench vise for $20, picnic tables for $5 each. Shelving units... all sorts of stuff. Kind of hard to walk away without buying more. ALMOST got a 4-drawer fire safe for $100. |

If you're looking for random "stuff" at deeply discounted prices AND you're near enough to Wisconsin to pick it up, check out The University of Wisconsin's Surplus With A Purpose (SWAP) program. https://mds.bussvc.wisc.edu/swap/home.asp I didn't see anything terribly exciting on my last visit to their website, but there have been things like Electron Microscopes and Mass Spectrometers on this site available for auction. |

Can you see the brand name on that tag? I have a large triple sink in the basement and am wanting to replace it with something like you have. I am wanting to have a LARGE dog wash so I'd use an industrial sprayer with it. |

Court it looks like an Aero. I picked one up at a restaurant auction for $5 because it had no legs. http://www.aeromfg.com/Double-Bowl-Sink-2-Compartm ent-Left-Drainboard-NSF-P26.html |

If you are even in Dayton Ohio, Mendelsons is definitely worth a visit as well. All surplus stuff, lots of junk, and a few genuinely interesting bits. It makes my brain hurt when I go there... |

Man - I had a couple folks behind us in line who shamed me because they "NEEDED" it for fish cleaning. We do spearfishing and lobster hunting so it'll definitely get usage. |

Steve - My company is selling off a large safe after a remodel. We're in Petaluma - I think you're somewhere in the bay area as well. Not sure of the exact specs, but if you're interested, send an email to bryan(dot)liss(at)gmail(dot)com and I'll get you photos and specs. |

With downsizing in Aerospace/Defense - start checking surplus/salvage sales for those folks. |
