So, RD, this year you plan on putting the body parts inside the cooler on a trailer, pulled by the bike???

I haven't built the bob trailer for pulling with the bike yet. I have an enclosed trailer that rides behind my jeep. I still need a rear swing arm, shock, and wheel/tire from an XB to make the trailer. |

What else do people want to know about? What do you know about that you think other Buellers might want to know? Should I set up another survey? Or maybe we should just talk on this thread? Ideas? |

RD, I'm bringing the blast this year, so you can try it out. No rice want try it out too. I'd be more than happy to share my knowledge. I built the first, and only (to my knowledge) fuel injected blast, and have had my xb tore apart almost every year for mods. I'll also have an extra bike, spare parts and tools, as usual, if anyone need help. RD, are you interested in sharing a camp site again? I'm trying to find a 6x12 enclosed trailer to take this year instead of borrowing one. Matt |

I'm using a 5X8. Have to compress the front shocks to get the Uly through the doors. We may have too many vehicles for them to let us share, but yea, I want to. Char, did you get piglet sorted out? Was there enough stuff in that cooler? |

Is it time to start posting who's coming from where so that cross country riders might hook up if they want to? http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show .cgi?tpc=37&post=2165293#POST2165293 |

I know why there's no posting going on here: It's beautiful in the Midwest and everybody is riding, right? |

That would be it Milt. I'll ask again...are we going to have any "how to" workshops? I'll sponsor one or two. We are about 20 minutes away from East Troy. |

Will you volunteer to be the subject matter expert for one of the workshops? Is there anyone else out there who'd like to demonstrate some hands-on mechanical magic at the Two Seasons Garage? I, for one, would really like to see how to rotate an 1125 engine. Steve has very kindly offered his conveniently located garage for this purpose. Speak up, folks ! |

Not sure about an engine rotate, but I'd be willing to try it with some help. By the time HC happens, I'll probably have over 10,000 miles on my 1125r. I was thinking maybe how to adjust a clutch, a grenade plate removal, replaced with two steel and one friction plate, primary chain adjust, belt adjust, and maybe even suspension adjustments...after all, we do have some pretty uneven roads around here. How to change a belt, how to change a tire. Some others...where to look for problems, eg; where the grounds are located, ETS R/R, throttle body linkage etc. Maybe even a "how to install a garage door opener on your bike" workshop, using the high-beam flash to pass switch. What do you think? |
