Just got back from seeing John. The valve replacement went well and he is recovering as good as someone can after having their chest ripped open. He said today has been his best day since the surgery so I'm glad I went today instead of the other day. He looked good, I didn't recognize him without the beard though. Kinda awkward at first cause for a second I thought I was in the wrong room. lol He says hello to everyone and thanks for thinking of him. He may be home this weekend so I expect him to chime in here in a few days. It was good seeing you today John, heal well. | ||

Jim- Thanks for passing the news; glad to hear he's doing OK. I'm not surprised you had trouble recognizing him; besides the lack of a beard, serious surgery like that can leave you all puffed up and looking a LOT different. | ||
