Perhaps Chicago pizza is so nasty you need to drink something nastier like beer to make you drunk so you forget how terrible the pizza was? |

Perhaps an east coast pallet just isn't up to the task of appreciating the complimentary flavors of multiple complex dishes. |

I bet you still use Flinstones vitamins Frog... I knew a few people that way. I guess they move to the gummiebear vitamins eventually. I have had the pleasure of having to puree all my food for the past week and I am amazed at how good everything tastes. I am eating a ChickenPotPie from Whole foods... right now looks like creamy mustard but every bite tastes fantastic. I have a Bertuccies Chicken-Sausage-Portabella Mushroom Calzone I am gonna puree for dinner. SORRY for throwing off pizza thread, but Pizza would prob be good to puree too. (I've lost 18lbs from puree'ing everything) |

Warning: The following post has absolutely nothing to do with pizza. I just tried the New York and Chicago varieties of Sonic's new "premium" hot dogs. Tasted exactly like what you'd expect a $2 hot dog to taste like. Chicago wins the hot dog taste test, btw. |

Gee thanks Court, you're too kind, I think. That was a wonderful dinner. Great photo of the chef you have there too. She's a treasure for sure. |

First time I had a Chicago-style pizza was at chain called "My Pi." The logo actually had the Greek letter "Pi" instead of the word, so it looked like "My TT." All ingredients were fresh and a small pie was a meal for two. They had these awesome mixed drinks, if the original recipe called for milk or cream they used soft vanilla ice cream instead. The place was AWESOME. We had two on Long Island, one in Hicksville and one in Massapequa. They left Long Island a long time ago, but they are still in business: http://www.mypiepizza.com/ I'm hoping some day they'll be back. They were a LOT better than Pizzeria Uno. |

Xdigitalx, I do take the gummy vitamins, I've never been able to swallow pills for some reason. Jamie, shame that place isn't around here any longer, I would love to try it! |

Gummy vitamins? Electric grills? no beer or coffee? Fine. Just don't tell me you prefer "boneless wings" over buffalo wings. |

Once again . . . . GOODFELLA'S in Staten Island walks away with the Best Pizza award. These guys first rose to fame the year they took 55 gallon drums of NYC tap water to California to use in the contest. I've never had one. |

NY pizza at home. http://www.americastestkitchen.com/video/?&docid=3 6626 local pizza is not NYC pizza. Thicker, floppier crust, more emphasis on toppings and less on the important stuff, like the dough and the sauce. |
