Is euthanasia far behind? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/healthnews/91133 94/Killing-babies-no-different-from-abortion-exper ts-say.html I've contended that if life inside the womb isn't valued then life, outside the womb, will not be either! |

I'm in favor of post birth abortion. Everyone should be evaluated at 23 years old. |

So the doctors finally agree with the pro-lifers. Newborn babies really not different than unborn babies. The ultimate conclusion being the only difference. Doc's say okay to kill 'em all. Pro-lifers say all have G-d given right to life. |

I agree with their premise: There's no difference between killing an infant and killing a fetus. Both are morally reprehensible. Abortion, when it finally ends, will be seen by future generations as the greatest single travesty mankind has ever visited upon itself. Proponents will be viewed much the same way slave owners and Nazis are viewed today. |

"Is euthanasia far behind?" Can anyone tell me how popular/main stream euthanasia was at 20 year intervals starting from say 1860 to today? |

Their line of reasoning, thankfully, will one day lead them to put their heads between their legs and push until they finally disappear. Perfectly rational. |

I don't think post-partum abortion should be allowed past the age of majority. If you can vote, you are old enough live at your own discretion. Age of majority is typically 18 - although the couple of locations where it's still 21 might mean parents crossing state lines to have their abortions performed. |

Euthanaisia is already here It goes 'Live 2014' They call the Critical Care Quality Outcome Committees.... they are indeed Death Panels They are legislated and required. Infact, if you Do NOT have a signed advanced care directive - ONE WILL BE ASSIGNED FOR YOU. enjoy Don't be surprised - the idiots that signed the bill didnt read it either. But indeed it is there, and it has already started. The WA State HHS has decided a 'Blue Ribbon' commission for the AVAILABILITY of hospice and nursing care ie they wont ever have to UNPLUG you - they just never let you into the care to begin with based on your projected terminal time horizon vs diagnosis vs cost vs administration vs 'quality'. Can you smell that Hope and Change firing up the Gas Incenerators ?.... maybe it is just me. I have seen too many ethnic clensings for 'the good of society' |

Do I have to get a doctors license to perform really late term abortions? After all I don't want to be “fanatics opposed to the very values of a liberal society”. There is some interesting arguments here. They argued: “The moral status of an infant is equivalent to that of a fetus in the sense that both lack those properties that justify the attribution of a right to life to an individual.” Rather than being “actual persons”, newborns were “potential persons”. They explained: “Both a fetus and a newborn certainly are human beings and potential persons, but neither is a ‘person’ in the sense of ‘subject of a moral right to life’. “We take ‘person’ to mean an individual who is capable of attributing to her own existence some (at least) basic value such that being deprived of this existence represents a loss to her.” As such they argued it was “not possible to damage a newborn by preventing her from developing the potentiality to become a person in the morally relevant sense”. The authors therefore concluded that “what we call ‘after-birth abortion’ (killing a newborn) should be permissible in all the cases where abortion is, including cases where the newborn is not disabled”. Abortion is the law in the U.S. I support a women's right to chose. Sometimes decisions should not be done in haste. I've dealt with 19 year olds. Some have no, or undeveloped "morally relevant sense". 'nuff said. |

Can Corporations be aborted? Yep, you can sell your stock in that corporation or not buy any of their products or buy their stock and let your voice be heard (something that a fetus can't do). |

Or, the government can impose so many regulation on businesses that they are never able to open. Corporation aborted. |

Or they can simply be dissolved. What point is being made though? Certainly not a valid one, and certainly not one that has to do with this thread. |

I wonder how many on that panel would appreciate a bullet in the head, as they an individual who is capable of attributing to her own existence some (at least) basic value. It sounds like the 'justify my life' trype that they always ramp up before they start the mills of the machine. You will notice that none of them claiming to support euthanasia are willing to signe them selves up for it , especially say for lunch - today . nit wits. This is how it starts. |

Sifo, I have to take an oath to "do no harm" to do harm? I mean protect the State? Or do you mean hypocritic oath? A THD can cover that one, I bet. |
