If I remember correctly, in 2010 infield access was free. Paddock area, general grandstand and tent camping cost $? Access was the T-4 tunnel up to a certain hour, then it was the T-1 tunnel. In 2011 they were charging just to get in the infield. Who knows what they will do for 2012... I don't understand why Daytona can't make it simple to figure out what ticket gets you where... | ||

Should be stupid simple, but it sounds like a complete cluster. I actually know where those tunnels are now. Should I bring my pink flags again or what? Mike... this is so gonna be the best Daytona ever! | ||

I got the final word today via E-mail about tickets for infield camping and access. The infield tickets required for camping on Thursday and Friday CANNOT be purchased in advance. Do not buy the Flat Track tickets (the only ones you can buy in advance) and expect to have infield or camping access. The infield/unreserved grandstand with access to and garage tickets can only be purchased at the gate. If you call to order tickets in advance, buy only the Saturday $45.00 ticket for full access. Be warned that the sales reps have no idea what they are selling. After multiple phone calls and endless on hold, I still have the wrong tickets for Thursday and Friday. Harry | ||
