I recently (january 26th) ordered a billet shifter for my M2 from Dorothy England from Billet 2 Race. I spoke with her on the phone and she seem like a great person and I felt very good about placing an order with the company. She stated that they where in a middle of moving machine shops and I would expect a 2 week delay in shipment. I was fine with this as I am not in a huge hurry for the part. I tried to call them several times to check on the status of the part and their move as I wanted to spend more money with them. I have not been able to contact them via telephone or email for the last 2 weeks. The phone number is now disconnected and they do not respond to their email. Has anybody had any experience with them? |

I know at one time they were supposed to be a sponsor of this site, Ft_Bstrd should have some more inight on this. I know there was a group buy on shifter sets as well not too long ago. I was rather curious myself what the story was with them as I was interested in the peg re-locaters. |

"I know at one time they were supposed to be a sponsor of this site" So they never became a sponsor of the site or they did? Cause I remember the GB that was being set up, pretty crappy if she was allowed to do a GB without being a sponsor |

It was setup where she could sell her stuff through bumpus harley/buell. They are a sponsor. There was a certain thread where my specific question was ignored by billet2race, so i wrote them off. (Message edited by guell on February 19, 2012) |

If they are in the middle of a move they are probably preoccupied with getting back up to speed. Give them another week. I had a similar issue trying to buy a part for my bicycle. I sent an email with noresponse. Finally I sent another with the subject "Are You Still In Business?", that caught their attention and in the reply she explained that they get hundreds of emails a day and it is hard to answer all of them. It turned out the parts came from Japan and the factory was destroyed in the earthquake. They were busy arranging a new supplier. |
