'domestic' partners have been covered on insurance plans in Washington state for over 15 years. that union is not just the same sex, but also long term 'non married' - and it did indeed skyrocket rates. Many cited it as a reason they left the Individual Insurance Market in Washington (we have no domestic domiciled companies that will write policies on an individual because of the cost/mitigation/regulation/prohibitions/loss ratios of those policies vs the premium and utilization collected) cheer up - that failure will soon spread through out the US if the mandates of ObamaCare remain (even if he is out of office - neither of the other candidates have made moves to repeal this beast - Romney certainly wont) |

"so that you can visit your partner in the hospital" How about we simply fix the fascist notion that hospital staff can dictate what type of visitor you can have while paying to stay there instead of using it as justification for gay marriage? |

Ever deal with a battered womens' shelter? You do have a point though. I, myself, don't want o marry a guy. The Libertarian part of me that's not too stupid to know that we are at war could care less. Like its my business. In like notion.... many have complained that Congress writes laws, for us, they exempt themselves from. Often, some people say Congress should be forced to obey the laws they write, and those exemptions should be canceled. Perhaps. Better yet, maybe, is to declare all laws the Congress exempts themselves from illegal under the equal protection clause, and make every thing Congress can do, what WE can do. There would be riots. |

http://washington.cbslocal.com/2012/02/17/we-are-s tronger-atheists-to-hold-massive-rally-on-national -mall-next-month/ I want to go on record, right here, that I bet you they will leave a godless-awful mess behind. Feel free to call me on this if I'm wrong. I want to see comparison photo's between THIS crowd's debris field and Glenn Beck's rally. ( the Communists left a real damned mess. Cost a fortune to clean up.) Also bet there will be violence. Now, I realize how cynical that sounds.... So, I think we chould challenge the athiests, and, for that matter, anyone who uses our public parks for protest, and gatherings in the great American Tradition, to leave it cleaner than you arrived. For your own pride as much as thanks for having a society that is allowed to argue. (Message edited by aesquire on February 17, 2012) |

Nice article. Too bad the pagans will neither read it nor believe the facts. |

I like the original flavor best. Shoddy copies need not apply. Only the National Biscuit Company can make a real Newton. |

And in a similar vein: "Little girls have pretty curls But I like Oreos Oreo's my choice because it's the very best cookie that ever was Girls are nice But boy, what icing comes with Oreos (Music trails off)..." As remembered from Sky King |
