As in Husky's Nuda 900. I dig it. Seems most reviewers feel the suspension is soft and power delivery is a bit tame. Those are (relatively) easy fixes. It's basically a completely revamped/re-styled BMW F800. I like that it appears to have much less girth than most of its competition and actually has some suspension travel unlike Ducati's Hypermotard (I've had a bad experience jumping one).
Supposedly will be available near the end of this year. It made it to Europe first as the U.S. homologation process is lengthier. I imagine it will not be cheap...but I'm really liking the concept.
Perhaps they will become one of those rare niche bikes with a high depreciation and poor resale so I can pick one up cheap in a couple years
I was seriously considering a KTM 690SM until I came across a test ride article on this in a magazine. It's pretty much the same concept with more motor.
I have ridden the F800 beemer. The enginge has potential but is too smooth and sewing machine like for me.The Husky supposedly has a 315 degree crank throw arrangement that would give the engine a rumble that would sound good much like our Buells but with more revs and it is balanced too. I like the frame also but then I ride a tuber so I'm somewhat partial. Just another neat design to come out of Europe
I like everything about it. I always thought the F800GS had potential as a big supermoto, though it would take too much effort to make it happen. Husqvarna pretty much made that a reality.
Here the specs:

I've been looking at a KTM 990 SMT for awhile (as I wait on Erik Buell). I wonder how the Nuda stacks up against it in the real world. The KTM has slightly more power and similar steering angles, etc, but carries 1.6 gallons more fuel. The LC8 is a decent engine.
