Web formatting is a bit of a PITA, but excellent photography and some REALLY good quotes.

thanx very much for posting the foto & link - I ended up on an Indian RE forum & saw more fotos

this factory-funded Cafe concept is SO much better finished than the UK distributor's cobby Clubman kit - wow.......

I'm old enough & rather opinionated about what's 'right' - I'm telling you that, appearance-wise, RE got many, many visual & mechanical details spot-on

really nice!

add the US aftermarket powerup package & it'll likely smoke a GB500

He is talking about the Indian Royal Enfield cafe racer that was two stories down from the Erik Buell interview. This is apparently a factory prototype that uses the existing engine in a new frame.

I know there were big quality problems with the Indian Enflields and that spawned a couple groups in England who specialized in going over and "certifying" the Indian Enfields before re-selling.
