so I have rossetta stone on a disc which is on my computer. Is there a way to put it on my phone (Droid x2)? There's no app for it that I've found, other language apps but it would be really convinient if I could have it on my phone. Maybe it's not possible but I thought I'd ask |

Windows applications cannot run on Android (multiple technical reasons), you will need to obtain an Android version of it, and I doubt it currently exists. You may be able to find a similar program that will do what you want. |

I searched the android market for Rosetta Stone, I didn't see it on the first few pages, sure enough I kept going after seeing that link and found it buried. Google fail |

busuu beats rosetta stone, though I don't think the live chat works well on the hand held - but it is the difference that will the shame to Rosetta, plus it is free you pay for the business and 'tourist' upgrades, but the free live chat with natives, best language site out there (avoid Google Translate ! It is horrible_) |

1)Place phone on table. 2)place disc on top of phone. 3)Voila! |

City, thanks for that heads up... I've been wanting to learn a new language but can't decide on which... I was hooked up with Rosetta Stone (no names to protect the innocent, lol) but have not been able to get it to run on my Mac... |
